Darlene, you're not the only one playing, just the only one playing right now. Sometimes you use old favorites and don't always break out a new one. I still have plenty of stamps that have never seen an ink pad up close and personal.
Sorry . . . didn't mean to offend anyone! I'll just hang out for awhile and wait for the others. Thanks for the info.
You didn't offend by any means! I was just speaking tongue in cheek about favorite stamp sets versus new ones! That's the challenge with a totally printed medium; you can't hear tone of voice or see facial expression.
I did one today...inked up another one of my so many sayings that I cut apart. The Summer by the Sea I use alot.
I hope people just have fun with this challenge. Hopefully we can play as we can no worries! I'll try and keep bumping it up and if people want to play that day they can...if not that is okay.
I plan to play some more as I have lots of lonely stamps! I've been working on a swap for a gathering I'm going to tomorrow (can't wait!) but I definitely want to do more DTGD challenges and this would be a great way to do both, so (in my best Arnold voice) I'll be back!!!

I need to work on this challenge, as opting to not buy as many purchases
for awhile, since I just retired from working, so just need to tell myself the household chores can wait a little longer
I bought soooo much stuff back in February. Your challenge (and my friend Danita) made me get out the Blossoms Abound set and make at least one card. So here are my Blossoms.
I finally did it! I've actually got two, the first was combined with this week's featured stamper Jen70 challenge (FS27). This was fun, but really much harder than I thought! (And, I found out I really have a lot of older sets that I don't use much anymore!)

I posted a card in my gallery, couldn't figure out how to post it for this challenge...Help anyone???
You can just copy the "address" of your card and paste it into your reply here. Or, if you want to post it by name instead do this.
* Copy the address of your card.
* Come to this thread and hit the "Reply" button
* Type your message with a name like MY CARD
* Highlight the MY CARD words
* Click on the symbol that looks like the earth with a chain link
* Paste your card's address into the box (replacing the little http that is there)
* Click okay
Now the link to your picture will be in your own words instead of http//wwwetc/etc/etc/
I love having 9....gets really busy at times, but that's what I thrive on!
Here's the outside of the card for Joe and Nancy, using a stamp from A Light Heart that I have never used before (or at least, that I can't remember using):
Hi! Caught wind of this challenge through the SCS Weekly Inkling #69 that I finally got around to reading yesterday. I thought ths was a great idea! Here's the one I worked on today for this challenge: Old Car by Itsapassion at Splitcoaststampers
Thanks for the inspiration!
Haven't made any cards today. But I did think of another idea for the challenge. How about inking up those stamps you borrowed from your friend?? Make a card NOW so you can return her stamp sets SOON!!
Hello all! I met another stamper yesterday and after visiting her stamping room (very impressed with her collection of stamps), she was kind enough to let me borrow this "schooner" stamp which is retired and I just love but can't find. You'll probably see more of this one since I inked it in several colors now have to turn the images into cards. TFL
Well...I started a challenged and then dropped out. I hope people keep playing. Life is kinda getting in the way of stamping. DD has become quite ill and in and out of hospital..taking a great deal of time and it is a great worry. It is quite serious
Thanks to those who keep playing. When life gets back to normal here I will be sure to play.

I am so sorry to hear about this. What is her age? I will pray for her health.

Wow Ciebelle . . . I had no idea. We totally understand your absence (though you've been missed) and will pray for your daughter's speedy recovery. If you'd like us to send her card (to help cheer her) just let us know her age and your address and I for one would be more than happy to send well wishes her way! Keep the faith! And we'll keep playing and praying.
