I've been surfing around the net a little bit and found a couple of design team calls, but they want 1 piece of altered art in addition to scrapbook pages and cards. My question is: What is considered altered art?
Something that is altered from its original purpose into art, ie, books that have been cut, stamped, painted, and embellished. The original theme of the book (or other item) is often disregarded.
HTH!

Try googling altered art and images and see what you find.

I think Valli gives a good answer -- but if it were me, I would see what their present designers are doing or write to them and make sure you're 'on the same page' and maybe get more specific ideas of what they're looking for.
