Question ACS Relay For Life Fundraiser Question

I really hope I am asking this in the right forum. If not, please tell me which category to list this under. Thank you.

I have a couple of questions regarding our local American Cancer Society Relay For Life that is being held in June. I am forming a team and in order to boost our team's total funds raised, I thought I would have a stamping event. My questions are:

1. Is the term Stamp Out Cancer, Crop For The Cure, or anything like that company-specific? In other words, is there rules about what you can call an event like this without issues of copyright?

2. Any advice on how to plan an event like this and what kind of resources, number of people, etc. to pull it off? I live in a small town.

Thanks!

Another thing you could do is to sell cards...I gave my sister a TON of cardfronts from various swaps I had been in and we sat and put them all on a basic white card base...she took them and sold them for $1.50 each to raise money for her team about 2 years ago - she wound up with about $300 in donations (some people gave her more than $1.50 a card...)

Wow! That's awesome. Another TAC Angel has offered to send me some cards to sell at this event. I am hoping to get my teammates to make some, too. I hope we can pull this off. I've never done anything like this before and want to do a good job and raise lots of money for the ACS!
Thanks for the suggestions. Do you know if the name is copyrighted or if anyone can "Stamp Out Cancer" or "Crop For the Cure?"
Thanks,
Bridgett
