Default Acetate question please

Hi,
Just wondering about buying "projector transparencies".....
Which kind would be equivalent to SU window sheets??
I once read that they should be "thermal" or something like that... so would that be one that can go through a laser printer??
There are so many to choose from... just wanted some advice.
Thanks,
Nicole

I don't know if this helps or not, but the lady who runs a local stamp store told me the "stamping" ones are made so that they can be heat embossed, where the ones at Office Supply stores aren't.

If you get the ones that are made for laser printers you can stamp and heat emboss on them. but it must say laser printer transparencies...if it's just the regular or the ink jet transparencies, chances are good, you'll might melt/warp it if you heat emboss.

I have been using photo copy transparencies and they seem to do just fine. I think you can get those in office supply stores
