Default Storing Interactive Pages

How should an interactive scrapbook page be stored so you can still do the interaction? I store my pages in the plastic sleeves and still want to do that with interactive ones, but I don't know that I want to keep pulling them out of the sleeve to do the interaction. I'm afraid that it will put unnecessary wear on the page, especially when the kids look at them. Any thoughts?

Can you cut slits in the plastic where the interaction is? I'd think if it wasn't too large it would work fine. Or laminate the entire page then add the interactive later by adding a slit into the laminate page and adding back in the interactive part.
