Default photo corners

They are simple to make.

I cut a strip of paper a little more than a half inch wide, then cut it into four pieces about 1.5" long.

Lay each piece flat, right side down, and fold the top corners down to the center bottom edge, with edges meeting. You will have a triangle now. It doesn't have to be perfect, i.e. the bottom edge may be longer or shorter than the top. It doesn't matter.

At this point I take scissors, straight or decorative, and cut across both layers on the long open edge. Then I put an adhesive tab on the back side, and when I am ready to use it, I peel and stick.

You can also cut an additional triangle shape and cut it a bit longer to insert into the corner so you have an accent colored edge. Also, if you punch the original one before you insert it, then the color will show through your punched shape.

I hope this makes sense.

I read your directions and wanted to thank you for posting them! Since I am new to scrapbooking, I had never made a photo corner.......how cute! And now my corners can match the theme of the paper I am using.....thanks again!

This just proves that what we know and share (even if it seems so simple) may help someone!

Another method...

Start with a square ( I use different size punches)
Fold on the diagonals, your square will now have 4 triangles
Cut out one the triangles, and toss
Place the center triangle on the front of your photo
Fold the other two triangles behind the photo and secure with tape

You don't have to fold around the photo to make it work, it helps the first time to figure out the folding.

And another method...

Start with a circle (punched is perfect). Fold into quarters, then cut one of the quadrants away and discard. Of the three remaining quadrants, glue the two outer ones together. This should make a little pocket. Does this make sense?
