we rarely have chinese too. the restaurant here isn't all that good. plus there isn't much that dh can eat unless we go to a big buffet one like in LR
I'm not really crazy about the place they order from. And dh never orders anything fried (my favorite), but if I don't have to cook, I'm not going to complain too much.
My friend Gale called today to tell my her mother passed away this morning. DH went by after work. If I don't get up there tomorrow, we'll visit with them when we get back. She & Brian are going to be pretty busy till then, anyway.

Good morning all. Kids are at school and I'm feeling ok. My throat doesn't hurt like it did yesterday so that's good. tanner was coughing this morning though so need to get some meds for him since I gave him the last of the cough meds this morning. Duncan had a rough night too. Was complaining about his stomach and couldn't sleep. Both are at school though and neither had a fever or anything so we shall. I think the cooler mornings are part of the issue and maybe allergies.
Need to make me some breakfast, then I'll run out and when i get back, I'll go finish up in Duncan's room.

howdy all. I listened to my podcasts today and worked on Xanders room well sorting through some clothes in there. I have more to do since I forgot that he had 2 drawers of 18 months and 2 drawers of 24 months of clothes.
I need to work on cleaning the house tomorrow to prepare it for me being gone and dh and xander destroying it.
my mom called me while I was at work today and told me that grandma has been diagnoses with leukemia. It is supposedly in the early stages. they will monitor it and she has an appt in december. she is to call if something changes. I am waiting on my step aunt to message me back with any more information since she was the one that went with grandma to the dr.

well talked to my step aunt...it is not definite that she has leukemia...we won't know anything until she goes to the dr next week.

I cleaned all day yesterday... My house was getting the better of me! I don't know how working mother's do it on a daily basis. I never seem to get ahead anymore. I will be so glad after this holiday weekend because then then hours at Coldstone change to winter hours and that makes it so my hours and responsibilities there change. I am looking forward to being home more and getting back into the kitchen... I have missed fussing around in my kitchen!
SO you posted that you were going to be gone... where are you going? I think I missed it somewhere.

that is great that you will be home more. I am hoping to scrap some now that the house is under control again.
I am going to go to work and clean the preschool like usual. DH is picking Xander up and bringing him home (like usual), but after I finish cleaning I am going to my parents to clean their house. I will be there overnight by myself...well myself and 5 unruly dogs...my parents 2 and jordan and ambers 3. I will come back in the morning after I have all the cleaning done (which I really plan on doing tonight) and after I stop at the new Kroger there by my parents...it is a Kroger Marketplace.

OO... sounds like fun?!... playing with the dogs, Yes! Cleaning no!, but hey.... a night out alone.... absolutely! I really like our Kroger here, so that should be cool to go see.
Howdy all. had a good day today. Spent the morning and early afternoon watching my friends little girl. Was fun to play with a little girl for a change. We went to the playground and on our way back, there was a pet turtle munching the grass. it was so cool. I have some pics on my phone and will try and gt them on the computer later.
Picked the boys up, came home and have been chilling and dealing with them ever since. They are eating now and hopefully will either go play or settle down to watch a movie or something until bed. Hoping to stamp some tonight but we'll see

I had to run out for some crickets. Stopped to get some ice cream for after dinner. Came home and had to make dinner. I guess dh didn't get the hint. so the chicken parm is in the oven. Then I'm playing down here in the craftroom.. woohoo..
Good morning all. I feel like crap. Not sure if it's allergies or a cold but whatever it is needs to go away. Tanner seems better today so that's good. Duncan has been coughing so giving him a breathing treatment in just in case. Need to make a list of what I need and then get to the store. Don't really feel up to much else today....except maybe some stamping if I can get motivated.

good morning all! according to kerri it is 64 outside right now.
I need to go let the dogs out and get a shower and such...will need to head home after while.
We took the boys to play mini golf, batting cages, and two different car tracks. It was a blast. Came home and sat outside for a bit. Now we are just vegging.

Good morning all. We are up and I'm waiting on the coffee. We'll be heading over my dad's later on for a cook out, probably around 1ish. Kids are watching Pink panther now. I think we all finally got a good nights sleep with no waking up so that's good. I think the breathing treatments helped Duncan. We'll have a chillin kind of morning until we need to get ready to go. Maybe I can find some inspiration and stamp...we'll see

I just got back from the grocery store. Nick is making pancakes. We will be heading over to my sil's house so I can help her with a quick project. After that we will be heading over to a bil's house for a cookout.

good morning all. dh is sick. Xander I think might have allergies (since he is clear cruddy stuff and he was outside most of yesterday). He and I are heading to church.
Well, we are dressed, boys are outside playing and getting dirty I'm sure...hehehe
I think I know what I'm going to do for the classes for halloween so now I can start on that. yeah!
in about an hour I'll go do the quesadilla cups to bring to my dad's The salsa has quite a little kick to it but tastes good to me. Not sure I told you guys my jalapeno accident yesterday. fingers were burning for about 3 hours....didn't wear gloves. All the other times I cut jalapenos this didn't happen but those were bought at the grocery store and these were from a friends garden. I will never again cut a jalapeno without gloves not matter where it comes from....
Morning all. I am finally up and semi functioning. waiting on the coffee that I believe is now done. had a great time at my dad's yesterday, didn't get home until 8 or so. Looking for a low key kind of day. Need to go out for milk an maybe a few things at Costco's but that's it really. Might hook up with my sis. She isn't doing to good these days and yesterday was the day the dog went to the new owner and she was pretty broken up about it.

good day all! I just got on the computer. we are taking it easy today. dh is feeling better and might go do some of the farm work for his dad afterwhile.
Xander has a cold thanks to dh.
I need to call his pediatrician in the morning because the yeast infection spots on his bottom have been there basically a month and the dermatologist looked at it sunday and thinks we need to get a monospot test done.
maybe during little mans afternoon nap I will go and maybe sb a little.

not sure when dh is going to go and work...he has been watching Terminator the Sarah connor chronicles off of netflix.
Xander ate his crib rail last night so I took it off and put the toddler bedrail on it. it will do NOTHING in keeping him from falling out but it intimidates him so he won't climb out! lol
with all I went through with that crib it really upsets me that he decided he should eat it.
he is enjoying sitting in his bed and playing. he did good for morning nap without the crib rail.
Morning all. We are up and getting ready to head out. Need to do my food shopping today. I decided to wait a day so I didn't have to go with the boys...hehehehe Basically I'll be doing my monday morning routine today. dang holiday is gonna throw my whole week off but oh well.

good morning. xander has been up since about 430. I have an appt at 930 for him. the dermatologist said to have a monospot test done because the rash spots on his bottom could be caused by that. it won't be fun since he got up so early and hasn't napped since yet...
I should probably go eat some breakfast so that I don't get sick myself.
Morning all. Not a lot planned for today. Gonna go walk after dropping the boys off then hit Target and BB&B for a few things I want to organize the pantry. Then it's home until I need to get the boys. It's gonna feel like in the mid 90's today. I thought we were cooling off but I guess not.
