I got the new honeycomb SU embossing folder and have seen pictures on the site where they have a background octagon shape and inserted it in the indented space on the cardstock. Are they cutting them individual and placing them in the cardstock or is there another die cut that fits the inside of the honeycomb folder available? I have tried spellbinders octagon die cut and it's either to big or way to small. Thanks
That would be great. Went out on Taylored Expressions for the die that some had mentioned, but after ordering some things on line and getting them and they are super sized, I am quite leery about ordering on line some things. Can't wait for the new SU catalog
I have both the embossing folder and the CM hexagon punch. I've had the punch for years. That's how I get the patterned or colored paper inside the spaces.

To get the individual shape, I put a strip(s) of the paper I want to use in the Honeycomb folder and then cut the shapes out. HTH.
I think the sample you saw had shapes cut from a hexagon pattern scrapbook paper so no guessing about the size or shape was required. Hoping for a punch in the new catalog!
