Help with Premature baby project~: Scrapbook Ideas & Albums

Hello,

I am a neonatal nurse in Lexington, KY. One of my jobs in the unit is to make each baby a 5x8 bedcard with their name, date of birth, length etc. We have been able to keep up with this project for 8 years, but with our unit busting at the seams with babies lately, we are in need of baby stickers etc for our cards. My hospital does reimburse me somewhat, but the need for things is still there. Some of my co workers will occasionally bring in some half price stickers and paper which I love, but as I said before, we are still in need.

Several years ago I asked for your help, and I was so happy when three people sent me cricut cut baby shapes and scrap blue and pink paper! Would anyone be interested in donating to some of our smallest patients? The parents love it, and so do visitors and staff. Small things like a simple bedcard can make a parents day when they see it at their babies bedside.

so patterned paper...card stock...stickers...anything else?...like gems or stamped images...sorry no cricut here

Thank you for responding! Anything pertaining to babies. The cards are about 4 inches by 6. So stamped images that can be filled in would work well. Die cuts... anything really!

Oh man i wish i had something in my stash to contribute. I will keep my eye out for anything and if I have a little extra money to pass it on i most certainly will

. When i gave birth to my daughter in Iowa her card was so cute- decorated for christmas with all sorts of pretty stickers and paper.. i loved it! (she was born Dec 21st) then when my son was born this past november it was just a plain white card with his name and info written on it in pen..makes me wish i worked in the maternity unit so i could make the crib cards.

What a great idea. My oldest son was premature. I remember sitting in the NICU looking at the little babies, (while my son was the bruiser on the block) my heart sank further into my chest seeing how the some of the other parents couldnt hold or feed their babies. I felt awful. I will definitely go through my scrapbook stuff to see what I can come up with.

both my dd's were premature...oldest was a 29 week and youngest was 32...brought each home at 4lbs 15oz...i remember hold my oldest for the first time...barely bigger than a barbie doll...the nurses were wonderful...a true blessing to have for my babies...i'm making up a pkg today
