No, I haven't. I would love to visit a church that my GGGrandparents attended !! I would even like to see the church my Great Grandfather pastored. He and my Great Grandmother raised my father, but I wasn't able to meet them as they passed before I was born. How fortunate if you were able to visit a church like this for you.
Didn't last long Diane..Thunder and torrential rain yesterday and today. The weather is so unpredictable lately The Church was so tiny..and is on the Welsh coastline lookingout to sea.I was raised by my Grandfather and never met my GGrandmother but did sit on my GGrandfather Evans knee before he passed a few weeks later.Hardly know anything about my GGGrandparents yet.
The next poster will use a Penny Black image for a card today.
Well, I need to go to the grocery store, but it will wait. I don't drive, so I'll have to wait until I have transportation. One problem with that is when I do get to go, I need lots and lots of stuff by then!
TPBM is leaving today for a fun labor day weekend.
Regarding picking up your meds at the vets, here is a story about hubs. When he had bypass surgery 8 years ago, the hospital took out every other staple. They sent us home with the staple remover and told me to "Google" how to remove them. Believe it or not Blue Cross Blue Shield would not pay for our local home health to come and remove the rest of his staples, many of those home health ladies I knew from when I had worked with them. The closest HH worker that could come was from over 30 miles away and someone we didn't know. So hubs calls our family vet, Dr Micky, and asks his if he had ever taken staples out of an animal...... yup our vet removed the rest of hubs staples. HE had just built a new office and had a beautiful surgery suite, big table that raised right up to eye level. Dr Micky was so gentle, that hubs didn't even feel him removing the staples!
There, ladies is your chuckle for the day!
Lead me not into temptation. Oh hell. Just follow me...I know a shortcut. Mary Beth
no but I would love me some blackberries, but they are so darn expensive
TPBM has been away from SCS for a while
FUNNY about the staples, I have a similar story, my son was the victim of a home invasion and was pistol whipped, anyway he ended up with staples in the back of the head, they too gave us the staple remover and just told us to take that and go to our dr and have them taken out, we were thinking of going to the vet as well---more convenient and quicker to get into, well the time for taking out the staples was upon us and I needed a new cell phone so we were changing my phone out so ds and a friend came up to see what I was getting, so ih (at the time--idiot husband) took ds out into the parking lot and took them out right there, so at least it saved a few bucks and a trip to the vet
