My snap stamps came this afternoon! I'm so excited! While I was patiently waiting for them this week, I made a card that I wanted a short saying for a tag. But none of my sentiment sets would work. I cut one word out of the phrase in the set. I thought, "Next time I'll use my snap stamps". Then I thought, "This would make a good challenge!"
This week, you'll be limited to using sentiments that are only a part of an original sentiment or verse. You can achieve this by using markers on your stamps or by masking your card. If you're making a tag, you can simply cut out the word you want.
Please put LSC75 in the keyword box when you upload!
Limit: sentiment (part of an original sentiment or verse)
Stamps: any images or backgrounds
Ink & cs: any
Embellishments: any
SAMPLES:
mamakimberly - In the first sample, she used 2 words of a longer phrase. In the second, she used 3 words of a longer verse.
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!

Fun challenge, Jen. I had to really think about this one, and what I came up with was pretty simple, in the end. Here it is: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Okay, took a break from packing up the house. (moving next week)
I haven't been able to play in a while, so I decided to combine a few challenges.
Can't wait to play Jen! You are really gonna love those snap stamps! Thanks for the challenge.

Jen, we must have mental telepathy! I just uploaded this last night while I kept eagerly checking the forum to see if you had uploaded the challenge early. I used the very first line of this stamp for a card going to a good friend who's feeling a little down. Thanks for a great challenge. I'm going to make another card for today (so that it's technically legit).
ok, I have asked this question before on other challenge threads, and it has gone unanswered, so i am going to ask again...what are SNAP stamps?
Snap stamps are a new alphabet stamp product from Karen Foster designes. They are tiny alphabet stamps that snap together to make words...I have one set and they are really awesome for the price. I have seen them in two fonts and two sizes but there may be more.
I'm still away from home and can't play, but I'm checking on you guys every day!!! May I ask, where are you getting these snap stamps everyone is using? I live in a rural area w/o any craft/stamp stores other than Wal-Mart, but I'm in a city now and have been to a Michael's and they didn't have any there -- what stores are they in or where can you order them from -- they are soooo neat from what I've been seeing -- thanks -- and happy stamping (wish I was!!!!)

I bought mine online at Addicted to Rubber Stamps.
