This week’s challenge is pretty straight forward . . . there are NOT a lot of rules, which should make it pretty easy to follow.
Today’s challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to use a die cut image as the focal point . . . that could be a diecut created with a diecut machine such as a Cricut, Cuttlebug, Big Shot, Wizard, etc., OR one created using punches, as the are essentially diecuts, too!
What is the limitation, you ask? The ONLY stamped image you can use is EITHER a sentiment, as per MY samples, OR an image you use to create background paper, as per my daughter's sample (but NOT both!). So basically, no stamped images as the focal point, get it?
You may use patterned paper, embossing folders or templates, and any embellishments you have on hand to accent your creation.
I’m DIE-ING to see what y’all come up with (I crack myself up!!)
Uploading: Remember the keyword is without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma.
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!

Weird - I couldn't get onto SCS from DH's laptop. But when I came upstairs to unplug the backup I was running last night - no problems. I am glad - gives me time in work to think about this, because it sure is a challenge. Most of my dies are just Nestabilities of one shape or another, so it might have to be punches here.
Thanks, Wendy, I'll enjoy thinking about this...and then some making, too .

I couldn't log on from DH's laptop - glad I got in when I came upstairs to unplug a backup I ran last night. At least I can think about this at work - sounds fun.

This is not exactly what I envisioned, but that really is not a surprise to me...my stuff seldom comes out looking like the original plan...LOL! I am still pretty happy with the result and think it would work well as a sympathy card. Here is my card.
Here's mine http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...&ppuser=147357
Great challenge, Wendy, I hope I did everything correctly, I haven't entered a challenge since March, so I was glad I was able to do one today. I missed doing challenges.

LOL, I see now that some of the problems I was having with SCS in the morning were hiccups on SCS and not just me - sorry about the double posts.
I thought about this all morning, and was going to do something with fishes. But on the bus on the way home I changed my mind and made this Flower Chain.
Fun challenge, and definitely challenging. Thanks, Wendy.
So windy here I had to settle for an indoor photo, or the whole card would have taken flight.

No rules! No rules! Whoo hoo! Oh, wait... you said "not alot of rules." sigh. I just love taking advantage of "no rules" kind of events, he he he.
Seriously, GREAT challenge, Wendy! I love seeing die projects, especially ones that are "outside the box." I think the gallery will be loaded with those today.

Got it covered!
DIE-ing, hahah you cracked me up this morning too. Thanks I really needed it after my morning drama.
Amagine my surprise (and a bit of disappointment) to find I've already done two cards this past week that fit this challenge.
So I'll share them with ya'll.
This first one is my demo swap card for my stamping group. It's been inspired from Mary Fishes work that was showcased in the July SS mag. Aug Demo Swap Card
The second one has a large flower on it, but that is a rub-on. The sentiment is the only stamping and the punches used to frame it is my DIE focus. MOJO95
