Whenever one of my kids do not want to try something new, we start chanting Yo-gabba-gabba's "Try it, you'll like it!" slogan.
So...today's thing to try...
A TRI-FOLD CARD
(Try it, you'll like it!! Try it, you'll like it!)
There are many ways to tri-fold a card. In my example, I've used a cutting file! Easy peasy! If your stockings are hung by the fire...let's see how you make a tri-fold card!

Great idea for a challenge, Dawn. I need to be nudged out of my rut of making ordinary square or A2 cards. : ) I combined your challenge with the QFTD one this week. It's a busy last few days here before Christmas so I made a simple card. Merry Christmas!
Too much caffeine at supper, so I'm posting this after 2 AM! A fun challenge...thanks, Dawn! TRI-FOLD CARD

I've only ever made two tri-fold cards, which I think were called "gate-fold" (two equal sides of a square that come together in the front.) I have a stamp in mind for my focal point and I will try to create the three folds around it. Looking forward to seeing everybody's creations!

I've never tried the Cami's Trifold before, so this was a good chance to try that instead of something old and familiar.
Mind you, I spent some time on the way to work pondering whether a trifold card should really mean three folds and hence four panels . F4A96 Happy Folds (front) F4A96 Happy Folds (inside)
I'll definitely be trying this again now that I'm familiar with the fold and can focus more on embellishing it.
Thanks, Dawn.
I had 2 DC ovals, so I combined them and a few tags for this tri fold. I embossed the poinsettias and pines onto the front, and used colored pencils. Happy Holidays to All! Here's Happy Holidays
