Default F4A295...Time to Loosen Up...10/16/2015

Time to loosen up before the holidays descend upon us!!

F4A295
Watercolor Drips

With watercolor mediums being all the rage these days, Serenity_Stamper has suggested that we loosen up and let the water flow today. Let's see a drippy watercolor background.

Any medium may be used. Watercolor, reinkers, Colorbursts, Brushos, etc.
Stamp an image on your paper. Then, wet down the paper with a small spritz bottle or waterpen. Apply your ink pigment. Let it run, drip, and bleed. After it dries, use it on a card. Super fun. Super Zen. Super..."go with the flow!!"

Here is a Watercolor Drip video for you visuals out there:

Tip: I used my MISTI to hold down my watercolor paper. It helped when I applied reinPkers, as well as when my paper was drying. And it makes clean up a cinch!

Hello from Germany! My link wasn't working but I think it is fixed now. See you when I return - we have a tour of the Roman bath in the town of Trier today. Kind regards, Lela

I watercolored my whole image panel, but did use the wet down technique for the sky, sea, and sand. I combined your challenge with the HYCCT one for today. Thanks.

A HUG

Smile F4A295 Spooky Cat

Dawn- great challenge, thanks! Had fun with my watercolors- used them on my panel behind the cat and pumpkin- and on the far background, on the full moon. Here's Spooky Cat. Have a great weekend!

Thanks for really challenging me this week! I enjoyed it and hope to use this technique more in the future. Especially since I've now bought the watercolors!

Dawn, your timing was perfect - I got my Brushos on Thursday and this came out on Friday!

I used the drippy background as my palette to stamp my image. (I hope this counts!)
