... flock together, right?? I often wonder if there is a secret meeting every year where representatives from ALL crafty companies get together and decide what’s gonna be HOT during the next year?? Seems like they ALL come out with similar ideas/themes at the SAME TIME!! (Think about it … color schemes, images, etc. – remember a couple of years ago when Sock Monkey was pretty much EVERYwhere??? Ya can’t tell me that THAT was a coincidence!!) (Sorry for the late post, just subbing!!)
It seems one of the “in” things THIS year is birds (particularly owls, right??). I mean, they are all over the place!!
Sooooooo…..today’s challenge is to make a card with an aviary theme … birds, bird cages, feathers, nests – whatever you have that will help your card take wings, baby!!
AND there is one other part to this challenge – throw in at least ONE color that is not in YOUR own personal palette … one that you find that you just don’t use very often. See if ya can come up with something to do with it!!
Uploading: Remember the keyword is without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma.

Oh - so much choice for this. Bird stamps and a whole bunch of feathers I have been collecting - some from swans, some from sparrows. I haven't jumped on the cages bandwagon yet, but there's still lots of scope - cool challenge.
Fun challenge, Wendy. I have lots of bird stamps...I like them and have friends you are avid birders so they come in handy.(I have to be accurate in my coloring for them! : ) ) Thanks for today's challenge.
I'll have to come back and play a little later. I have a leaky drainpipe in my kitchen. No man, so gotta try to find it and fix it myself. If I have time I will play. I have great bird stamps! Thanks for the challenge Wendy!
This is the second card like this I have made. Yesterday for the One Piece Challenge I made one as a second card and didn't get it uploaded. One of my daughters came by last night, thought it was cute and took it home with her. I liked it as well, so made another one for today's bird challenge!
I super enjoyed this challenge, thanks Wendy. We are having a big Labour Day party tomorrow so I will not have the chance to comment till this evening, so hang in there. It's a Good Day

I love birds...they remind me more of spring, my favorite season. I used elegant eggplant, a color I NEVER reach for, but I realized that I really like it. I also incorporated the sketch challenge for this week in the layout. Here's my card I call LIFE
