Hey there, everyone!
I'm so tickled to have been asked to hostess the Free 4 All this week while our sweet pal Jeanne S is off enjoying the week at Summer CHA in Chicago!
I've titled this week's Free 4 All as being "Side-Swiped"!
Imagine all those lucky peeps crushing through the exhibits & M&T's at CHA .. ... ...
Sometimes at CHA, you either side-swipe someone or 'get' side-swiped every minute or two .. in a crafty-kind-of way of course!
One of my life-long friends is a professional barrel-racer & trainer. I love having an opportunity to watch her compete, but honestly, she literally has to side-swipe those barrels in a hurry!
Have you ever been peacefully shopping with no apparent peripheral "radar" working, when whoooooosh! You've just been side-swiped by a running/dashing child (of many possible ages) nearly spinning you around in the aisle?
I could go on about our local road construction traffic whittling down in a heartbeat from 2 lanes to just one, but you've probably got the side-swipin' picture by now.
Let's give our creations something special along the side(s) or bottom! One side, 2 or 3 sides, bottom only ... just some special attention or treatment along an entire side. Distress it, border it, texture it, bling it, sew it ... ... love it up in some way!
Bonus fun? I've used some new-to-me items on my sample. So bonus {{{hugs}}} to you for using something new-to-you!

Oh, now this really sounds fun. I'll be contemplating what to make when I get home from work - glad I remembered to check the challenge before I head out.
Thanks so much, Bev, for filling in today! You did a GREAT job! Love your idea of "side swiped"...and all you funny examples! : ) It is a terrific challenge!

I like Friday's challenge because I'm off from work and don't have to rush, but I think I did this in about half an hour -- not too much rushing anyway. Here's my card --
I certainly wasn't very observant in the early hours this morning - the keyword says F4A17, but the gallery link is for 23, which is right . Tall Order for Christmas
Not really what I had in mind at all, but that's life sometimes.
