We will all learn something about each others 'other life' with this great challenge! I had to look thru some of my cards for ideas on how to convey this. I chose two cards here: Pretty Window & Whatever is True
What a great challenge. The other thing I love to do it stitch (hardanger, canvaswork, cross stitch etc). I don't as much time to stitch as I'd like that's for sure, but when I do most of my projects are too large for a card. I'll have to figure something out for this as it is one challenge I'd love to be able to do

I don't get enough stamping time these days to keep up with all the challenges, but this is one that I was easily able to combine.
Now - if only I had the time to use one of my photography-related stamps, and a book one, and my collection of musical-themed stamps...

Great challenge, Dawn- thanks! I decided to show my Berry Jam Cover, with jam made from my friend Jan's berries, and blackberries from our garden last year (they do really well here in Bellingham, WA). I used scraps from my latest quilt in progress, and a felt children's kit.

Had to do a mini patchwork card- got these fabric squares in the mail today, and added a green fabric strip. Added a sentiment that made me smile Here's Take Time

here is mine.....I LOVE ocean gazing and swimming (and reading on the beach...and walking on the beach.....and.....almost anything to do with the ocean and beach...lol)
Great idea for a challenge. I thought of gardening, knitting, cooking, reading - all of which I do and love. But then came back to the most fulfilling thing in my retirement which is volunteering 3 afternoons a week with therapeutic horse riding for kids with disabilities. Here's my card:

I love to cook and bake in my spare time. In fact people request my 7 flavor pound cake and my coconut cakes. I made around 75 or more mini 7 flavor pound cakes for Christmas.
Here's mine, with some washi tape and twine at the bottom. I just love spending time outdoors in nature whenever I can! Thanks for a fun challenge! Hilltop Eagles
