In college (over 20 years ago), I borrowed a short, green dress ...completely sequined, for a fraternity formal. It was such a fun dress! Oh my! What a dress! I can't stop smiling just thinking about that dress.
Apparently, even Lady Gaga is gaga over sequins.

No trouble here....I'm gaga about sequins and have been for several months. Love the sparkle they add without bulk and come in such a pretty range of colors and finishes. Fun challenge, Dawn. Thanks.
Dawn- great challenge! I used a light green card, with a dc foam tree, decorated with sequins, adhesive gems and glitter that I made years ago. Added an elephant and bird. Finished with a green sparkly ribbon border and 3 buttons. Here's F4A210 Yellow Bird

I'd never worked with sequins before nor did I have any. I did run and buy some last Friday but it took until today to realize I had a card I could case for this challenge.....
For those of you who purchase sequins...Which brand and from where do you prefer.
I have some from the Local Big box. I believe they are Darice. These look a bit "OLD" to me.
Some of the newer ones seem more translucent and iridescent.
I am a big Doodlebug fan and I was excited to see that they release 12 sequin collections. I purchased them and I must say that I was very disappointed. When I received them, they looked like they were half filled with glitter. Upon further inspection, it was not glitter but a MILLION of the innies from the hole in the middle. I sorted through each and every jar to "clean them up."
As I was sorting them, I noticed that the metallic one looked "tarnished" and dull. Most of the color looked "scraped" off and they just did not look pretty.
Maybe my particular set was scraped from the bottom of a batch but I was not happy.
I was looking at all the beautiful color on Simon Says Stamp, and I would appreciate your input.
I am always last on a bandwagon, but then I remembered I have these sequins that I brought over on the Mayflower... little different from the norm, but fun. Pretty Bird
