Default **LIMITED SUPPLY CHALLENGE 4**

It's time for another LIMITED SUPPLY CHALLENGE Remember what it was like before you had a whole room full of stamping supplies? Let's see what everyone can come up with from this list. Remember that you can use any combination of things on this list, but you cannot use anything not listed below. When you upload your card to the gallery please put LSC04 in the keyword section and post a link to this thread so we can all go look. Everyone is welcome to play - even if you never done a challenge before...please join us!!!

Supplies:

Stamp sets:
Sketch an Event
Fresh Flowers
Little Layers (you may choose any ONE of the three sets and then stick with it for the week)
Groovy Lines OR Simple Stripes (choose ONE for the week)
Curvy Verses OR Cheery Chat (choose ONE for the week)

Cardstock: US White, Earth Elements, Naturals Ivory

Ink: Earth Elements only

Accessories: Mono, Double stick tape, dimensionals, Crimper, Circle Punch, Hemp, buttons, sponge, PLUS
Any regular household item such as bleach, staples, etc.

If you can't upload to the gallery you can still play at home. You don't need everything on the list to play. Just use what you have.

Do I have to use one of the background stamps, or can I play without it? I just don't have either of those.

Tho I finally got 2 background stamps today, and I've been a loyal SU! customer (now demo) for 2 1/2 years! How funny am I???

I'll have to think on this, but it will be great to help me get moving on some cards I need to make.

You don't need everything on the list...you just can't use anything that's not on the list. And where it says "choose one" you may choose no more than one of those for the whole week. Make sense?

If you have ANY of the stuff on the list - try to play! The less you have - the bigger the challenge!

I tend to have trouble with Earth Elements so I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!

Wow! I've never done one of these before. Sounds harder than the sketch challenge and I have a pile of new sets coming...HOPEFULLY today.

Do you have to commit for a whole week or can you just make a few projects and move on?

OK, I'll try it. I can borrow Fresh Flowers from my best friend. I bought it to her for her birthday last August. Is borrowing allowed?

One more question. I use the coluzzle circle maker instead of a circle punch. Does that count as the same thing...same result.

Sorry for all the questions, just want to participate, but not cheat.

Borrowing is totally allowed! Using the coluzzle for the same result is fine as long as it doesn't give a result that you couldn't get from a punch (like a cut out circle in the middle of the page or multiple sizes that the punch doesn't do).

This may be a stupid question but can it be any of the circle punches? I didn't know if only the hand punches or the two big punches or both.

I love the Earth Elemants family but I have never used them with Fresh Flowers so I may have to go with the Little Layers sets.

Since I didn't specify on which circle punch - let's just say any size circle punch available from SU.

Thank Goodness I got Little Layers Plus when I hosted a party in January! However my EE supply is real limited, I think I have Close to Coco, Really Rust (which I discoverd is lost when I went to let someone borrow it tonight) Old Olive, Creamy Carmel (but it is a marker), Garden Green, Cameo Coral, Ruby Red, and Basic Black. Hey wait a minute did I just list all of those ink pads, guess I have more than I thought! CS though is only Really Rust and US White, thank you for picking either US white or vanilla every week..

Well it is late so I will dabble in this tommorrow, can't wait.

Ok, Jami, here is my card...it's late and my brain is tired, not sure I like this one too much. It's tough when you can't use blenders or aquas, and don't have the word sets on the list! Thanks for pushing the creative envelope with these limited challenges!

pending, still, I'm sure:

I got 2 done and 1 more in works.
Can someone loan me curvy verses or can I come to your house and use one quick??? Lol! This is really hard for me cuz I only have 4 Earth Element stamp pads (I know... I'm working on it!) and none of the sentiment stamps in the list!

http://gallery.splitcoaststampers.co...cat=500&page=1

I used a Q-tip to color in the ladybugs. I didn't think it would work, but was amazed that it did!

And:

Here are my contributions to the challenge...please forgive my goof on the 2nd card...I have one of the worst head colds I've had in a while and my brain is fuzzy so I totally ditzed out on that one.

Both images pending as of 8:46PM CT

I finally did it!! I completed a challenge and UPLOADED the cards!!!

This is a first for me and I had such a great time making them!

I went with the Little Layers Plus set (since I had not used it much yet) and I decided to use all the EE papers and the LL + stamps so I created 6 cards that count towards the challenge and 1 that I made before I realized ribbon/cord was not allowed.... My favorite is the heart one..

Please let me know what you think!

I did my cxards last night (Tuesday), I just didn't get to it and didn't get to spend much time but I wanted to do somthing.

My results are very plain/basic. But they would be totally functional cards with a nice message written inside. I think I will try one more today to see if I can come up with something good.
