April 14 is Good Friday. Many people are not having to work that day but are not neccesarily traveling or spending time with family. I was wondering if you would like to have a Limited Supply Challenge day similar to what we did on New Year's Eve/Day. We could have several with them spaced every hour. How many should we have? Who is interested in hostessing? Who is interested in playing?
Ideas for challenges:
Limit on color
Limit on theme or holiday
Limit on number of stamps
very cool idea...I would love to do something, not sure how it would work for me though since I am in a WAY different time zone. What time would you start. VSN was tough for me because it started at 9pm here in Germany...I can't hang with everyone that late Let me know whatever I can do. I will be home with my kiddos, we are on Spring Break then...

Maybe this isn't the place to post this but I was thinking it might be fun to do a secret sister thing with us challenge junkies..........just a thought. We'd have a pretty goog idea what everyone seems to like/need.
Wish I could, but we are out of town for Easter, visiting family and all that. I'll have to find a computer somewhere in our travels and watch what you all are doing.
There was also some talk of a mini VSN (like the New Years challenge) Easter weekend.
Yah, this is it! (But it can't use the name VSN.) I thought I would first see if people were interested and available before we extended past Friday. And Friday is regular challenge day. If there's enough interest during the weekend, we need to get permission from the moderators.
New Year's went well and it was a lot of fun. Remember Snow Day VSN... It was in trouble because it was a VSN, in the VSN forum, and unknowingly used some of the same challenges. I don't want to make the same mistake ;-) New Year's was not called a VSN and not in the VSN forum. And we were careful with challenge ideas.
Not going anywhere, nothing on my schedule (as of yet...)! I haven't done a VSN (still got that newbie fear). Maybe this would help take away the jitters!! I'm game (and a limited supply extended challenge would fit my limited supplies!!)

As far as Good Friday challenges...that just might be a great thing for me. My MIL and BIL are coming into town. If there isn't something to take up my time, I'll go insane with them around!
I wanna play! *waves hands in the air* I don't have anything planned that weekend so I'm game. I'm still a newbie at the challenges and haven't done a VSN (even though I've wanted to) so this might be a good *warm up* for the next one. Great idea, Jen!

It had already been cancelled by the person who started it, and then Suzie and I saw the list of challenges (which were a lot of the MARVSN challenges)... I just had Beate delete the list of challenges, but this was after it had already been cancelled.
Not sure if you thought Suzie and I cancelled it either, so I wanted to be clear on what exactly we had to do with it!

OOOH--that sounds fun! My kids have a half day of school, but we will hang out here most of the day--my 8-year-old dd played the last VSN, so I know she'd love to play along with me!
I would be willing to give this a try...I haven't done a VSN yet, so maybe this would give me an idea of what it takes and how exactly it works. Thanks Jen...now I'm off to try to come up with a card for todays challenge.

Yup, I remember the Snow Day fiasco. I didn't think we would call it VSN or be in the VSN thread.
Looks like I'll be bowling in the morning that day (who would have guessed it? This is the 1st time we're bowling on Good Friday in 5 years). I can be back here by 11:30 CT though. I can play catch up if you start earlier.

Sounds like fun! I am just starting to find my way around SCS finally. I had a blast with my first VSN (March) and found your LS Challenges today. Everyday I find something new in SCS land. I live at my computer lately! Count me in!
