My sons (both in their 30`s now) loved french Toast when we were away in our touring caravan but they always called it eggy bread as we had it for breakfast with baked beans and bacon, just dipped the bread into beaten eggs and milk and fried the slices, cant remember the last time we had it but it always reminds me of holidays

I love French toast too. We also call it eggy bread. Sometimes I pop spices in it and use it as a lunch base.
BTW you hit the magic 5000!

We did hit 5000!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will start another one if you would like me too.

Tonight is steaks for supper.

I didn't have anything last night. I did make the chicken but the smell of it was wretched and made me sick. DH ate it and said it was good, but he didn't like the smell either, so that will be something that I will not buy again.

Pumpkin Pie Dessert

Filling:
1 c. canned pumpkin (I use the whole 15 oz can)
1 6 serving pkg. vanilla instant pudding
1 c. cold milk (I used 1 1/2 cups)
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice OR cinnamon (I used the cinnamon)
8 oz. container of Cool Whip

Blend all together until creamy and put into a 9x13 graham cracker crust.

Pie Crust:
2 c. crushed graham crackers
1 stick margarine
1/2 c. sugar

Mix sugar and graham cracker crumbs together. Melt margarine and mix into crumb mixture. Pat into a 9x13 pan and set until firm. I have put my crust into the freezer to set, however yesterday for some reason it still fell apart, so next time I make this I am going to bake it first. Add pumpkin filling and let set in refrigerator for 3 hrs before serving.
Stampin Up North, I made this dessert today and it's YUMMY! Thanks so much for sharing the recipe. Mmmmmmm........good!
