For this week's challenge, include a movable part on your layout. This could be anything from a spinner that moves to point to various items to the rotating wheels on a stamped or paper pieced train.
Your page is awesome and I love the clever spider! I'm getting backed up on challenges, so don't know if I'll get to this one--especially since if it won't have moving parts if I do digi! But, I do hope some of our scrappers will try this one, since I'd love to see their ideas.
This is such a cute idea. I checked your blog & have a question. I know when you pull the floss the spider climbs the web but how do you get it back down?
It took a bit of thinking to figure out how to do that! If you look at the close-up photo, you'll see that I poked a hole in the background cardstock in the center of the web and another close to the edge of the page, then threaded the embroidery floss through so that both ends were at the back of the page. The spider is attached to the portion that is on the front of the page. When you pull on one end of the thread, the spider moves forward, and then you pull on the other end so the spider will move back. Let me know if you decide to try this and I can give you a few more tips!
