May 1st is sometimes called May Day. What exactly is May Day? In medieval England, people would celebrate the start of spring by gathering greenery and flowers, or "bringing in the may". Another English tradition is the maypole. It would be decorated with greenery, ribbons and bright colors. People would dance around it with the ribbons weaving in and out causing the ribbons to braid.
My challenge to you this week is to "bring in the may" on your page. Use greenery, ribbons and flowers to celebrate spring.
