Default SBVC06 fontastic...12.14.07

I feel like I am being pulled in so many different directions this time of year as I am sure each of you are. So thought maybe this would show how mixed up we feel.

Time for another new challenge, and this is all about FONTS!!! especially fonts in your title, but they can be elsewhere if the title doesn't work with your page.

I want to challenge you to to use your fonts and mix them up.

Use SEVERAL fonts, and at least 2 different types of materials to create your lettering- rub ons, stamps cut out, chipboard, stamps on a tag, stickers, computer fonts, ect!!!! Be creative, mix it up and have fun.

Here are my examples for the challenge, I used metal stickers, stickers, ghost alpha, chipboard, traced and cut out monogram, stamped and cut out.... so come on lets see your fonts!!!

I can't wait to see your pages!

my samples:

Happy Birthday

page 2

toys

trains

you can find all submissions for this challenge here: SBVC06

Great challenge. I like the look of different fonts used for a title. Or even in a jounraling block.

This is perfect for the page I'm working on right now! I'm hoping to steal some time and get it finished this afternoon. Right now I've got to go get the munchkin and myself dressed for our MOPS group meeting. Have a great weekend!!

I totally LOVE doing this, but it is always a challenge for me. I have trouble mixing them up because I think I'm doing it wrong and mine never looks as good as everyone else's!
Love all of your sample pages, Peggy you are AMAZING!!!

thanks ladies

Sally I don't think you can do this one wrong! I think it can make a difference on the pictures you use with it; a couple of my favorites I've seen were Halloween pictures and a guy page, but there are lots of possibilities.

Does your own handwritting and stamping count as two different "materials" to create your lettering? This is the page that I made for the challenge...but now I wonder if I didn't follow instructions very well....oopsies. Here is my page:

Can I start by saying how much I have loved the new challenges--you are doing a great job with them Although I haven't been able to participate in many of them I keep them in the back of my head to try out when I have the chance.

Here is my take on the font challenge. I think the LO turned out OK. I used chipboard and my cricut for the title and then a different font for the journaling.

Peggy, I'm really late on this one, but I'm going back and doing the challenges I didn't get to before. I combined this one with a more recent challenge, I hope that still counts. Here's my page:

Actually made use of e different fonts for this digi page. One is Adler and the large one from Katie Pertiet SnapFrame Alpha. The journaling was done in Century Gothic which is available in PSE7.
