Default siblings that cant get on

Hi everyone out there,I don't know why I am writing this probably just to get it off my chest. My husband and I have 2 sons one about to turn 27 and the other 30, they are home for the holidays The 27 yr old is gay, I mention this because I dont know if this is an issue ,it never has been as far as I know and has been home with us for approximately 2 months and is planning on leaving in a couple of weeks the older one has been home for 2 weeks and has no definite date to return to his home they are both single. They do not get on and we are feeling uncomfortable all the time waiting for the next row over such little stuff.I cant help but think there is jealousy involved from the youngers point of view but I dont understand at all.We are very easy going parents perhaps too easy and I try and discuss the problems with them when they arise but they always say"well he has a problem". Maybe we should leave the house and come back when the dust has settled. The other day we went out and left them at home and I thought this is like the same unsteady feeling I had the first time I left them home and went to the shops without them.I came home to a broken light. They are not necessarily violent as bitter about each other. How do I handle this or get my head around it.
Help

First, you shouldn't have to leave your own home because your children can't get along. They aren't toddlers, they are ADULTS! Second, I would simply tell them that if they cannot get along then they need to go to their own homes. I wouldn't determine which one needs to go, I'd send them both on their way!

Oh, and they would be equally responsible for any damages caused.
