The holiday season is here and my mom moved to a Senior's Residence this year and would like to give a gift of appreciation for Christmas to those that assist with her living. Her Personal Support Worker is fabulous, she goes over and above for little pay.
Any ideas for a gift would help as I'm the one doing the shopping for her.
How about a little "pampering" type of gift, especially since she does so much for others? Maybe a gift card to a local spa or salon, or even just a goodie basket with manicure items, scented lotion, bath treats, etc. Something she wouldn't ordinarily purchase/make for herself.... You could add a packet of hand-stamped notecards as well. Just a thought...
gift cards!! workers appreciate any thoughtfulness but they are underpaid and often need money. i gave cards to practical places like Target where they could get just about anything. so nice of your mom to appreciate the staff.
my blog -> Dear Paperlicious includes interviews with paper crafters and industry folks, my own paper crafting, and the serial "blog novel" How Stamping Destroyed My Life.
