This is a vent.

I was laying down, trying to take a nap. I'm 27 weeks along and sleep is difficult sometimes. Last night it was due to really strange dreams, but anyway...

I had the ringers turned off on some of the phones. I tried to turn it off on the one that was most offensive, but it wasn't working for some reason. The display/voice said, "Ringer Off." But it kept ringing!

And the REASON it kept ringing is that we're into the early voting period for the March primary, and if I've gotten one survey call, I've gotten TEN. Really. Evidently the state Senate and House races in the district we're in are pretty hot. AND, I keep getting those darned recorded calls from the various candidates.

I'll be SOOOOO glad when March 7th rolls around and they stop this madness. And I'm encouraging all my friends and neighbors to go out and vote so that there's NO RUNOFF!!!

Oh at least they were calling for you!! All afternoon (with 4 sick babe's sleeping) I was getting crank calls. I got so pissed I phoned the police to trace it, but they stopped! Darn kids! Once is funny ha ha...twice they need a life (but I still have a sense of humour) 8 times is NOT OK!!
