Card Drive #4 - Bright Star Center
Welcome to our final card drive. Today we are focusing on kids through the Bright Star Center in Florida.
The Bright Star Center assists children ages 3-18 through the grieving process. Children grieve very differently than adults. At Bright Star they are encouraged to express grief both verbally and through positive play. Art, Children's yoga, grief groups, and a one day camp are just a few activities offered.
Teens in the program take pride in "giving back" through a pet food bank program that donates food to families in the hospice program. This program offers Fellowship and a sense of purpose. These kids are amazing!!
They request birthday cards for 2 years of age to young adult.
Please note - this is a one time card drive - they are not accepting cards throughout the year at this time.
