I finally made my first BVC card for the year. Just 8 more to go and I'll be caught up to this month.
Mary ~
Beautiful card. Left you some love. Thanks for sharing your first BVC card for the year. Keep 'em coming! You can do it, as the verse on your card says: nothing is impossible with God. Looking forward to seeing your next creations.
Hi, been busy but finally catching up on my cards, so here they are for the months of July, August and September. Hopefully I will be able to post the next ones on time...TFL! Have a blessed week ahead!

Here's my October entry. It's early. I hope you all don't mind. Earlier in the year, I was late - so I'm just balancing it out.
This card is also for the Alphabet Challenge to use Letter C. It gave me a chance to make a Christmas card and even to create a trial run on my cards & gifts for my neighbors.
I love this image from Stampin' Up! It's so beautiful in its almost heart-shaped design. It works well for a CAS card design.
Hi, finally got around to using the digi images I downloaded a while back. Trying my hand at resizing and merging and colouring and all sorts of manipulation on them and it is a whole lot of fun! Anyway, here is my effort for my October card (I know I am early but I will be busy in the coming months so have decided to whip up a batch while I can now).. I used a digi background paper and merge a bible verse on it...left it plain as it is without any embellishments for a 1 layer card. Definitely will use this technique more..Special thanks to Dee's bugaboo boutique for her free bible verses sentiments! TFL!
Susan ~ Your cards are lovely!! I like them a lot. A one layer card is beautiful for a Bible verse. Nicely done! TFS and thanks for your comment on mine.
I just posted my October minibook page in the gallery. Interestingly, the background paper I used for the page is Tim Holtz's Halloween paper with the 31 on it for October 31. While I don't celebrate Halloween, I do love the fall and found a way to incorporate this "holiday" page--I didn't realize until I was putting the page together, but my passage is 3:1! Details on my blog at Sentiments and Scrapbooks.

Great job! I like it. Ingenious way to "get around" the preprinted 31 on the paper. Smart!

Hi I made a set of cards for my November posting using the verse from Mark 11:24. These are for a group of friends whom I meet up and pray regularly with. I really appreciate their commitment to pray about anything and everything. They have been a fantastic source of blessing and encouragement throughout the year. TFL!
Blessings,
Susan
Hop over to my gallery to have a close up look at the cards.
Melody - There's no time limit. What wonderful pages you have created! Thanks for sharing them with us and thanks to the Lord for helping you through a slump. Keep going strong. Looking forward to seeing more of your amazing artwork. Hugs.
Susan - A very nice set of cards for your prayer group.
LM - Very pretty page for your album.
Melody - Such a beautiful spread for your journal.
Everyone makes such fabulous cards and pages. It's all very inspiring. I did my October entry early. After seeing all these creative and beautiful entries, I may just have to make another one for October! It's wonderful to see God's Word used in so many pretty ways.

I have been enjoying looking at all of your creative projects and reading the Scripture Verses you have chosen. I have left some comments in your galleries. LM
No problem being behind, Marney. I am glad to see you posting! LM
PS---Marney, I just went to your link to see and comment on your card...and you linked a set of CCC cards instead of a BVC card. Looking forward to seeing your BVC Card when you correct the link.

Happy Thanksgiving to those in the states. All of us have so much to be thankful for in our lives. Every day can be a time for giving of thanks! Enjoy your day of feasting & fellowshipping with family and/or friends.
Does anyone else have a favorite verse for Thanksgiving?
Praise God from whom all blessings flow;
Praise Him all creatures here below;
Praise Him above ye heavenly host;
Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Amen
When we Praise God, we are thanking Him for His lovingkindness, mercy and grace.

Happy Thanksgiving every one. One of my favorite Thankful verses is Psalm 106.1:
"Praise the LORD! Oh agive thanks to the LORD, for He is good;For His lovingkindness is everlasting."
I am thankful for all of you who participate in our Bible Verse Challenge. I will soon be posting the Link for our 2013 Divine Bible Verse Challenge. I look forward to hosting another year.
