I'm really late to post for January, but I just found these faith-based challenges. I'm hooked already! Here's my card which has my favorite verses on it.

I just posted another verse for January. This becomes such useful tool for me! I can encourage another with my work but also these words become written in my heart. I typed this last week and I cant tell you how often the words came to me this week! Thanks again for this amazing blessed challenge!
Hello Sisters in Christ!
I finally decide what to use my bible verses for - had so many ideas but wanted to do this for myself. I had a SU on-board journal, so I am using it to keep track of my verses. I will have to keep embellishments down so pages aren't bulky, but am looking forward to filling it with encouragment from this site.
I was finally able to get my January submission completed. Oh, how I would love to have more stamping time. I am very happy to be doing these challenge cards with what time I DO have. I would love to have a card ministry one day (when I retire?) I took four pictures of it, but I just can't make them look like everyone else does...so I just scanned it. I have loved looking at all the beautiful submissions. You ladies do awesome work!

I've only got 2 stamps. And I think I found them at Hobby Lobby.

I found these unmounted sheets on clearance at Biblical Impressions. With $3 flat shipping, it's a great deal! Between all three sheets I think I got 90 verses, which came out to be about 50 cents apiece. They're just plain rubber, no cushion or anything, but I just used a piece of double-sided tape to stick one to an acrylic block. If you don't have acrylic blocks, you could use the bottom of a glass, the sticker side of a wood block, etc. HTH!

Here's my first Divine Design card. The scripture I used on my card is 1 Peter 5:7. I'll be making cards each month so I can build up my card supply and how great it will be to have faith based cards ready to go.
I just found this thread through Michelle's blog (ArmyWife2Sam). I would like to join you all...what a wonderful idea!

I am so glad to be doing this challenge. I have been thinking of the verse I would like to do for next month. Is there a button we can put on our blog for Divine Design 2009?
I loved being a part of the BVC08 Challenge. Now I have a beautiful 6x6 Album with 12 pages from last year of Meaningful Scriptures I memorized last year. It is going to come in very handy over the next two months, since I am going to have right shoulder surgery week after next and won't be able to use my right hand at all for at least two weeks...so as limited as I am with my left hand, I WILL be able to flip the pages of that album and refresh myself on my memory verses from last year.

I am subscribing . I thought I had already and wondered why no one was posting but it was back on the 08 link I guess. now I see this is the place. better late than never.

Ok, I've uploaded for the first time into my gallery. I hope I did it correctly. In the keywords I added BVC09 and 6x6 scrapbooking.
I'm super critical of my work and rarely share anything I make except with immediate family. This verse is my theme verse for the year: Matthew 5:13.
I chose this because my husband and I did a mission trip to Africa a few years back and made the decision to go into full time ministry. God had other plans for us though. My diagnosis with Fibromyalgia and my special needs son don't make it practical for me to minister in other countries. But I do much within our church and community and I am constantly reminded that you are a missionary where ever you are.
