Default What's Your Favorite?

Hi

I'm an avid "Stampin Up stamper", I don't shop at other places very often (even though Hobby Lobby just opened up in town). I think... I'm wondering... Am I missing out on a totally cool stamping item and don't even know it?

Is there an awesome tool that you can't live without?

Do you never leave home without your _____________?

Tell me what it is!

Here are my favorites...

TOMBOW adhesive tape (best I've found).
EK Success Honey Bee Craft Scissors
BIG SHOT Die Cutting machine

I recently bought a crop-o-dile but I haven't used it yet.

Lynn, Just checked it out online, looks easy to use. Thanks for the input.

I checked out your blog, OMG, Love the "hot flash" card... too cute. What stamp set is that? I'm going to pin it with a link back to your blog.

Have a great weekend!

The "hot flash" card was created with Girlfriends - Picture Perfect by Art Impressions.

If you don't already have the SU scoreboard, I would recommend the Martha Stewart score board. It is only $19.99, and you can frequently use a coupon for it at Michaels or Hobby Lobby.

Here is something really neat you can do with the MS scoreboard besides just score your cards:

PS I agree about the Envelope Punch. Lots of fun to make your own envelopes with all that "less than perfect for cards" patterned paper!

I never leave home without my SU catalog. While I am waiting endlessly for trains, my turn in doctor/dentist/haircut etc., places, I can find ideas I somehow missed while looking before. Sometimes I have images ready to color in my bag. SU really is the best.....

I would say, the ATG gun and tape. I don't think I've tried TOMBOW's adhesive though, so I don't know how it would compare. I use my ATG gun everyday, and wish I had bought it earlier.

ATG gun and refills and Squishy scissors (soft handles so your fingers don't hurt from being in the handle loops).

I always take my scor-pal with me when I attend stamp get togethers with friends, and even take it with me on vacation.

I have explored other companies and I do own other stamps... my only issue is that I am devoted to my wood mount stamps and so many companies are going "clear mount" so my options are getting smaller and smaller. I suspect that SU will probably eliminate wood blocks stamps eventually as well.

My issue with the clear mount is that they often fall off... Maybe its the Seattle humidity? All I know is that they've fallen off onto a stamped project more than once. So frustrating.

You need to keep your clear blocks and stamps clean

Yep I know it is a pain in the butt. It still happens to me too. I have to keep it a routine to clean them on a regular bases. I usually, just pile them up until I am done with my project and clean them when I am cleaning up after my project.

I clean my clear blocks and all, yes all my stamps with a mixture of Simple Green and water. Water 3 parts to 1 part Simple Green in one of those little spray bottles on the stamp scrubby I have from SU. It has worked like a charm.

The only clear stamps I have are off the top of my head are Penny Black and Flourishes. I do Have more problems with cling sticking though, which
upsets me even more. Because if I would have known I would have had problems with cling, I would have stuck with wood!

So with me it is not a problem with clear stamps it is cling! LOL
