Britta, I hope this question is OK to put here? But I'm a new and excited
user. But I don't know where to find the ins and outs of
understanding the language? I did find out what BTT but there are so many
others. Is there someplace that I can find tools to better understand how to use this site?

I am now hooked on this site and have signed up for card swaps and love
the gallery and techniques are great.

Okay, I don't think I'm going nuts, but I could be wrong. It's been a week maybe since I was here, but I can't find anything under chit chat or family matters regarding the lengthy divorce thread (#5 I think). I've been back and forth and up and down and sideways and have never had a problem before in finding it.

Help???

I still confused (lol) I want to ask all the GREAT stampers here to help me with a mission.Grandson is going to Iraq and I want to send cards over there for all the boys to have cards to send back.so I am asking for free cards but don't know where to post it.HELP !!!!

OK, HERE I GO. DON'T KNOW WHERE TO PUT THIS OR HOW TO ...
My post office is getting snitty about putting postage on my cards. I used to be able to ask them to hand cancel the cards, and they would. Necessary because there may be a dot, or bump palpable from the outside of the envelope. I went the other day, and they charged me 20 cents per card to hand cancel and placed a huge postage label on the card for the "stamp" . I understand that it took her all of 1 minute to weigh each card separately but why did she act as if she was punishing me for doing her job? I knew the cards would be a problem for their postage machines, that's why I went in the first place and I also knew that I would have to pay more postage. What's the big deal? Aren't they loosing money and shouldn't they be happy I use the post office?
