Congratulations, Greenie!! You are correct!!!

The Great Dark Spot (also known as GDS-89) is the name given to a series of dark spots on Neptune similar in appearance to Jupiter's Great Red Spot. The first one was observed in 1989 by NASA's Voyager 2 probe. Like Jupiter's spot, they are anticyclonic storms. However, the interiors of Great Dark Spots are relatively cloud-free, and unlike Jupiter's spot, which has lasted for hundreds of years, their lifetimes appear to be much shorter, forming and dissipating once every few years or so.

Hi Girls...........Got a card done.yahhhhh

and as for the next challenge, I have no die cut machine...just not sure of what is wanted here....If I use a 3-d sticker, and cut around it?...I might as well just stick it on the card as is...why would I cut around it?
picture is a little fuzzy here......lolol

Jan, option #3, for those of you who have no dies of critters, is EITHER use a 3-D sticker (such as Jolee's) OR use a regular sticker (of a critter), adhere it to card stock and cut around it, making your own 3-D sticker.

Greenie, I thought you had a Big Shot! I guess you just don't have any critter dies. I have lots of Sizzlits of critters!! If you can't even come up with a sticker with a critter, punch art would be cool! Just have a critter on your card!!

Punched critters would be OK if you don't have dies. That would be Option #4!!! I have the Owl punch and the Build a Bird Punch. That works!! Sorry, I didn't think this would be so hard!!!

I asked my husband for the answer to this question, and I can't believe he got it wrong...He said Jupiter. I'm glad I didn't post his answer. LOL...
He can't believe he got it wrong. My husband has always been into astronomy big time. He even built his own telescope.

Wish I had time to participate in these challenges right now. Maybe I will be able to do the next one. Our contractor is supposed to come and work on my craft room next week...I sure hope so. I have most of the room packed up and it's taking over the rest of my house.
Today, I have to get ready for our dinner tomorrow. My daughter and her family is coming. My husband will do the cooking. (Am I a fortunate lady or what?)
Happy Easter everyone...

He was probably thinking of Jupiter's Great RED spot which doesn't disappear like the dark spots on Neptune.

How do you cut your nesties? A Cuttlebug? Thats a die cutting machine. I have a Cricut but no cart with a dog. I will be going and looking at Jolee's stickers. Punch art is a great idea to make your critter. Punches are a kind of die.

It will be fun to see everyone's ideas.

Greenie! You were first! Congratulations, you are correct!!!

Gymnophobia is a fear (phobia) of nudity. Gymnophobics experience anxiety from nudity, even if they realize their fear is irrational. They may worry about seeing others naked or being seen naked, or both. Their fear may stem from a general anxiety about sexuality, from a fear that they are physically inferior, or from a fear that their nakedness leaves them exposed and unprotected.

It doesn't have to be a dog. It can be ANY kind of critter. It can be a bird, a horse, a dog or a bug, etc. ANY kind of critter. If you don't have a die of any kind, and you don't have a Cricut cartridge with some kind of critter, you can use a sticker. You can also make a critter with punch art. Punches count, too!

I have lots of Sizzlits of critters that I never use! I also have a Cricut and several cartridges have some kind of critter on them. I really thought this challenge would be easy, especially since there's the option to use stickers! Punches are OK, too. How many of us have that Build a Bird Punch?!! Or the Owl Punch? Or punches that you can use to make a punch art critter? I recently made a caterpillar using circle punches and one oval punch.

Ladies,

Do you have or know someone that has – a Revolution die cutting system that uses the QuicKutz dies. I bought something from a shop in Hawaii and they put my name in a drawing and I won 4 sets of dies (Leaf Shapes, Baby Shapes, Baby Shapes 2 and Christmas phrases. If you do, let me know and I'll mail them to you.

Hugs, K.

Can't you use QuicKutz dies in any other machine?

Kathy, you can put QuicKutz through a Cuttlebug; there are videos. I can't believe the things you can run through these Cuttlebugs!

I hope you all had a fabulous Easter!

Here is a little bit of what has kept me crazy, er busy!:

Saturday was my 9-year-old’s birthday. She went to another girl’s birthday party and was getting back a bit later than we thought. We pulled up to both sets of grandparents outside our house waiting for cake and ice cream. My daughter’s favorite orange vegan cake that I made completely from scratch with orange zest etc…

Can you BELIEVE our dog pulled out a file cabinet drawer, a kitchen drawer next to that and climbed up to eat the cake while we were picking Vanessa up!!???? Grandpa and DH ran to the store and got a chocolate trans-fat ridden cake that they all enjoyed. I took a picture of Vanessa with the new cake, the mostly devoured other cake and the dog! I had everyone over for Easter dinner and made a new cake to go with the chocolate whipped cream frosting that was waiting in the frig to go on the original cake. Where does the time go???

I am slowing trying to read what has been going on here on the bus. I see your cute grandbaby CA!

OK, CA. Do any of us NEED birth control pills anymore. I'd say Gregory Pincus' invention DID come in handy for awhile there.

I don't have a Cuttlebug - it's a Big Shot, although I just ordered the Grand Calibur by Spellbinders. But these dies have some sort of magnetic backing on them and I don't want to put them into my machine. I'll keep checking around and, hopefully, find someone who can use them. Thanks for the feedback though!

Brat, it's too bad you didn't have your dog on a video - it would have been a hit on the Funniest Video show!!

I could put them in MY machine! However, maybe you could do blog candy with them.

Yay!! Brat Girl!! Congratulations!! You are correct!!!

Dr. Gregory Goodwin Pincus (April 9, 1903 – August 22, 1967) was an American biologist and researcher and is best known for his central role in developing "the pill"--the oral contraceptive or birth control pill. Gregory Pincus continues to be hailed as the primary force behind the oral contraceptive. Among the many honors he received during his lifetime was membership in the National Academy of Sciences of the U.S.A.

Cuz, I can't see why those QuicKutz dies won't go through the Big Shot! If you can use them in a Cuttlebug machine, you should be able to use them in the Big Shot.
