I got Cindy's email this afternoon before I was out and have already been praying him up - he is such a sweet kid and as you said, the apple of his Mom's eye. Hope that this picture of him from Sue's gallery comes through - Chris just turned 8 in September - pray for all you are worth!

Ooops, I stand corrected - thanks for keeping me in line, SISTAH! (and you do it from the top fo the bus too!!)
I forgot to look at the date - I just saw the picture of her family for Nick's Confirmation - here -
Well, nine years old is way to young to go through what he's going through, and I'm sure Sue needs plenty of prayer too in order to keep up her strength. I sure hope the surgery takes care of the whole problem. I'm praying.
I replied back to Cindy asking how old he was when I got the email. I can't imagine how scary that would be. I would like to send Perk a card too. Anyone have her address? I don't even know her name but she and her husband need encouragement too. If any of you have it if you would pm me I would appreciate it.
Well we had our Christmas tonight with our family. We had fun. It's going to be weird on Christmas day.
Christopher's mom is Perk or Sue Titolo at the same address as Chris in Schenectady, New York. Silly, my Christmas is on Thursday of next week. Not much going on this Sunday. Eddie will open some gifts and Alicia and Jacob will probably stop by. I'm not even shopping for food until Tuesday!

Well, it's 9 degrees out there this morning. Poor Eddie has to stand in that cold at the bus stop! Cold weather and NO SNOW through the end of the year! Sheesh!!! No white Christmas for us this year!
9. Any cookies consumed from someone else's plate have no calories since the calories rightfully belong to the other person and will cling to their plate. We all know how calories like to CLING!
10. Any cookies consumed while feeling stressed have no calories because cookies used for medicinal purposes NEVER have calories. It's a rule!
So, go out and enjoy those Christmas Cookies - we only get them this time of year!
Merry Christmas to you, CA! THanks for the cookie rules! I am thoroughly enjoying them.....AND the cookies!!!

If anyone is interested you can go to CaringBridge / Christopher Titolo / Welcome and send a message to Chris aka Coffeestamper's Son. He woke up today for a couple hours and was able to touch Moms nose and push the hair from her face. Today has been a good day. Prayers for many more good days are needed. Cards are more than welcome and are sure to bring smiles and needed comfort. I hope everyone has a Healthy and Happy Holiday. Merry Christmas to all.... hugs Irene
Irene, thanks for the update on Chris. It's so good to hear that today was a good day. We have been praying! We will pray for many more good days and a complete recovery. We're also praying for strength for Sue. Cards will be coming too. HUGZ
MERRY CHRISTMAS MY TWISTED SISTAHS!
Enjoy your day and celebrate the birth of our King! LYMI!!!

Merry Christmas all! Whew I'm glad things will soon be normal again. All my company is now gone. Tomorrow we are going with some friends to a local restaurant. They are serving lobster and prime rib. Sounds good plus I don't have to cook it!!! That's the best part.
We just got back from Christmas Eve services. It was nice. We decided to save the hot chocolate for in the morning. Eddie opened all his gifts, too. I can sleep in a little in the morning, but we have to go to OUR church for services in the morning because I have gifts from Secret Sisters to deliver! Besides, I like to sing Christmas carols!!
I hope everyone has had a wonderful and blessed Christmas!
Cuz, I just finished one card - but will get your challenge card up in the next day or so - I am working between our visits to all the relatives over the holidays.

Hey CarrollAnn!! How was your Christmas Day, Sweetie?? Did you get to sleep in a little before you went to church - I bet you were really belting out those Christmas carols this morning!!
I went last night with Mary and Ty, and then again this morning with Julie and Gavin - it was EXTRA SPECIAL!! Was out ALL DAY = nearly 11 hours by the time I got home - just kept going and going - like the Energizer Bunny - had about 5 or 6 mugs of coffee this morning, so it kept me going - Daria was precious at John and Mada's house - she was thrilled to be stacking her Duplo blocks (little kids Legos) - cheering for herself every time she added one to the stack. Just a great day all around!

Oh, Greenie! It sounds like you had a wonderful Christmas Day!! We were pretty laid back around here. Alicia and Jacob came over with Maddie. Maddie had the most adorable red dress on and looked so cute with her hair in two tiny pony tails. I'll ask Alicia to forward me those photos so you can see. I got candles and candy in a pretty basket from Alicia. Alicia got a beautiful promise ring from Jacob! It's moving fast for them, but he's going to basic training on January 17th. He gets to come home for a month of recruiting before he goes back for specialized training. After that, he gets stationed somewhere. He sure wants to marry Alicia! Maybe they will by summer. I hope so! Anyway, Eddie has appointments on Tuesday and I'm going to CostCo to buy food for my dinner on the 29th. My interview #1 for foster care is on Tuesday also. What a day that will be! I'm hoping my DD will be here from California so we can visit before or after we go to CostCo. They will come over Wednesday to visit as well. That will be after interview #2!! The licensing worker said we might get it all done in two interviews instead of three if all goes well, but we get pretty chatty, so I don't know. Anyway, there's a possibility that I might be licensed by the end of January. It all depends on these interviews, I guess. I have a doctor appointment on January 2nd because I've been sick for two months with bad allergies, and I've been so tired all the time.
Did Santa bring everyone wonderful goodies??? You know I got a Coach purse and wallet and I finally switched everything last night. It's great!! Santa was good to me! LOL! I also got lots of Occasions Mini stuff. Some of it was paid for with my tissue box cover class. That was a big success. I made an FS card today with my stuff and really like how it turned out.
Well, I guess everyone is all tuckered out! I hope all of your days were blessed!!!
Merry Christmas Sistahs! I think all this working up to Christmas is fun. However, when people think it is over the very next day after the presents are opened - I don't. I am still going to enjoy this season until I recover from our New Year's Eve party.
Why just say it's Christmas all this time and then - BOOM! It's gone? I am playing Christmas music, the kids and Don are playing with toys, and I am going to relax and enjoy my day off and maybe even take another this week!
I took Christmas Eve and Christmas completely away from the craft room, computer and work room! Yay!
I was thinking and praying for you all over the these days. So,
Brat Girl, I'm with you! I'm celebrating Christmas all week! Tomorrow, after Eddie's appointments, we're going to CostCo to buy food for our Christmas dinner on Thursday. I hope my DD from California will be in town by then so we can all go out to dinner. After my 2nd interview with the licensing worker on Wednesday, my DD and her family are coming over to visit. We'll all play games and maybe order out for dinner. Then, on Thursday, My DD and her family from California, my DS and his family, my DD and her family from Reno, my youngest DD, Alicia, with Jacob and Maddie, plus my mom, Eddie and I will celebrate the holidays with a nice dinner. I'll be relaxing on Friday!! What a week! Yeah, Christmas doesn't have to end on Christmas day!!!
We just celebrated one of the best Christmas' evah! All my family came to my house and we laughed, ate, cooked, opened presents, played BINGO, took photos, fed the deer, flew Gunners new plane and crashed it, went for walks and essentially, broke in the two newest additions to our family. New Niece-In-Law Sky, and new Nephew-In-Law Travis. Our family is a bit rowdy at times and I'm hoping we didn't make them wonder just what kind of family they've gotten in to!!! I feel so blessed and I thank the Heavenly Father for his Grace, Wisdom and Son, who, I pray, will someday be known to everyone in my family. Got a very special call from Pat on Christmas Day and she sounded wonderful but still suffers with her hand problem. Might be a healing prayer is needed here? Glad to read most of the Sistahs have had great Christmases! Does anyone know what the challenge is for TSC1230?

Hello all just a quick pop in...sounds like all had a great Christmas...cool....we picked up dd and sometime to be sIL, came home opened gifts slowly then had a huge breakfast, hubby's tradional thing, so now we wisened up and have our turkey on boxing day or later so we can still be hungry to enjoy the turkey...:0).
cause after the breaky we snack on all bunches of nibbles and sweets (oops)...lol, then we played some games and tried out these little remote controll choppers, drove the dog crazy...lol and relaxed, called other family members and dozed...lol...was just nice to spend time with the family again....:0) take care all and catches ya later...:0)...LYMI..thanks for all the prayers and sending some back...:0)...big hugs to all
MY TURN TO GIVE THE CHALLENGE FOR 1230????? OK.........Make a card about the good things you like about Winter. You must not use P I N K except to make rosy cheeks if that happens to be in your design and you get extra points if there is a Cardinal somewhere in your design.
Hi girls...Good to see you all on here,

He won't know the difference...lol
Hopefully I can do the challenge.... love & Hugs Jan

It's great to see you, too, Jan!! So glad you had a nice, quiet Christmas! I just went shopping today for my dinner on Thursday. We're going to have ham, asparagus, double baked potatoes and salad. I also got a huge CostCo Pumpkin Pie and plenty of whipped cream. It will be nice. I will have about 19 or 20 of us here. Lots of grandkids! Mine will NOT be quiet! LOL!
Did anyone else get an email saying that Sull5wD posted to this thread saying: "Tater - we all need to count our blessings too."??? After that statement there were four links to advertisements. Somehow the post was removed which is good I guess, if someone is posting to threads just to advertise.
No, I didn't see that post! WOW..How did that happen?
What is everybody doing for New Year's Eve?

Yeah, someone was right on it and removed that post. I looked up the screen name, but it's not there either.
I will probably fall asleep before midnight on New Year's Eve, but Eddie will be told to wake me up before the ball drops if he remembers! LOL! Our church was going to have a potluck party at the pastor's house, but the pastor's wife's grandmother died on Christmas Day, and he will be officiating. It's in Oregon, so they will be gone for several days. I haven't heard that anyone else is going to take over for that which is fine with me. I'd have to leave before 9:00 p.m. to get my mom home and in bed on time. New Year's Eve is pretty laid back around here these days!
I always enjoy a small gathering for New Years' Eve, but not sure what is going on this year. When it is just the hubster and I, he usually falls asleep before midnight. I like to stay up and watch the ball. When I was married before and my kids were young, we would always host a New Year's Eve party where everyone would bring their kiddies. We would play kiddie games until 10:30, then put all of the kids to bed in my boys rooms. Then, the adults would play games and shoot off guns and have a good time (all done without alcohol) then, we all would go to sleep and wake up the next morning and go out to breakfast. One year I hosted a Murder Mystery Party for New Year's Eve. That was fun! I turned my living room into a restaurant complete with small tables and even had two waitors in suits to wait on the tables. It was an 'All My Children' mystery. Everyone came dressed to play their part.
The boys used to want to stay with me on New Year's Eve, but now they have their own plans.
