Just stopping by to say Hi...One of my New Year's resolutions is to stop and check this thread more often so I can stay caught up...(Now don't laugh too much!) I'm not a big snow fan, but it was pretty coming down today, and we didn't have to go anywhere so I didn't mind it...And Yes, it was a good day to stay in Jammertown and make some cards!

Hi Jill! I'm just popping in to say hello myself. No snow here, but a tad under the weather. Fortunately, there is some "action" in Jammertown, just so ya know! Today, Katie challenged me to make a thank you card in JT. And I do need a few of those! If you all wanna play, the key words are Jammer Town. Do it! (smile)

Happy New Year you lil Bus Riders. Jan, relax? What is that? New ideas....Hmmmm...
I am just trying to stay awake today! After work last night, I took a nice, five hour nap, and "reportedly" snored (I assume all purdy like, of course). I felt a lil sick since Fri, and had a fever Sat-Sun, so work yesterday was long. I feel so much better now, but wiped out! I need cards-cards-cards! Aaaaack! Still have not been to the postie for the ones I have done! Oh, the life of a Slacker, it just ain't pretty! I think I am behind in all areas.
Praying that each of you can feel the blessings of God each day, and His incredible love.

Hi girls. Happy New Years to all a little late. I didn't realize I hadn't been on here to say that to everyone.
I went to the Dr. for my check up on my back and I'm doing great. Don't go back until July.
I went to HL and Mike's and spent a whopping 4.60! I don't know what the deal is but I have not been buying anything in either of those stores for months. I think I am over saturated with "Stuff".
Sylvia, that is great news! Great way to start the New Year.
I can beat your record, Sylvia...I went to the craft store last week and only spent $2.30 after using my coupon. I have been trying to go in the store and buy ONLY what I need. It's difficult, but my budget requires that I do that...plus I have still have a nice stash of stuff from previous trips.

I can't wait to post my card for this weeks' TSC from Silly!! I giggled the whole time I was making it!!
I can do you gals one better - I have not even GONE to a craft store for about 3 or 4 weeks! Trying to go through and use what I have - makes more sense!!

Hi girls... I love the Card idea...but am sorry...the only thing that would make me smile right now would be....to get done what I am behind on...and thats makes 3 males & 1 female belated birthdays.....
right now I am having trouble with challenges....this is in writing...("no more designing") there....lol.
I think it was too much pressure on me at the time...but was great...and I don't regret it in the least....was awesome actually....
but...i would love to do a card that would make everyone smile....

Use one or more hearts on your card or project. Use a die cut heart or hearts, punched hearts, stamped hearts, or embossed hearts. You can use just one heart or have hearts all over the place! You can stamp an image that includes a heart or use a heart stamp to make your background. Hey, if you have dp with hearts on it, use that! My love to all!!!
Hi everyone. It's been a cold and snowy day and then it warmed up into the 40's. Weird weather.
I BBQ'd pork chops and Kielbasa for supper. We had a summer time feast with snow on the ground!
Got a card made today. I haven't been very in the mood lately. I think its from not having time to stamp during the holidays and I just haven't gotten back into it yet.
Mark, Julian and I leave tomorrow (Sunday) around 1:00 for Quehanna to stay overnight and pick Justin up at 9:00 AM Monday morning!!! YAY!!! He has to go to a rehab for two months in Wernersville, about 10 miles or so west of Reading, PA....about 45 minutes away from me! He is very anxious to get out of the system......can't blame him. Please pray that God will give him patience and peace until Monday rolls around! We plan to have Christmas with him Monday when we get home. He will pick up some of his clothes and whatever he needs at rehab and then I take him to his dad's house. His dad is supposed to take him to Wernersville Monday evening. I'm so excited!!! I told Justin to expect his Mama to be wrapped around him for about 10 minutes, holding on tight, until I get my fill of him! Heehee! He just has to deal with that! LOL! I have missed him so!
Thank you all for your prayers for him.....I know he felt them! Please continue, if you will, to pray for him. Thanks so much my sweet, sweet friends!!! I love you all so very much!!!!

I think I have an idea of where you will be going. Many, Many years ago, I used to go to a retreat Center that used to be in Wernersville, They closed it a long time ago, It was for a Day retreat. If it's the same area, it was a really neat area...so quiet...but since it was so long ago, it is probably all built us in that area now.

I think I have what ever you have...because I'm also having a difficult time making a card right now...the last three that I have tried with...went right in the trash can. I feel like I have wasted hours and hours of work. I think I am out of practice too. Or any creativity I have has vanished.f
I wonder if sometimes we try too hard....we all get writers block...so to say...dry spells, happens to me...can't do a thing...then all of a sudden i get like amybe 4 cards done in no time....so just relax..xxxxxxxxx..<---(relaxing bed).......and let it come...

Yep I'm still dry! I did make a card for the cas challenge today but wasn't really please with it either. It will come. I sat downstairs earlier and threw three attempts in the trash. I had this idea in my head but it sure didn't look like what I had in mind! I haven't been sleeping and I'm just exhausted so I think thats part of it. When I try to create its like my head shuts down.
My husband just called from work and he is really sick. He sounds terrible. Oh he is such a big big baby when he's sick. Hope I don't get it. As soon as I got out of Children's Church yesterday I ran to wash my hands. There is so much sickness going on around here.
Lesley I am so happy for you and your son! I know this has been so hard on you. Now we are praying for him to continue his walk with the Lord and to stay strong. Hope he can find a church he likes. I love my church and it makes all the difference in the world. Hope your day with him is great! Hugs to you!!!!!!!

Hi Gals, late night tonight as I was down to Mary's catching up.
Guess Lesley had a WONDERFUL DAY today, getting Justin - can't wait to hear all about it!
I go some GREAT NEWS - Therapy went good - he told me I only have to come in ONE MORE DAY - no Friday or my other 3 times next week I thought I had to go to - guess I am where he wanted me to be - YAY!! Now to figure out how to sleep at night without "sleepwalking"!
CA, any news about De Anna - how is she doing and feeling - been praying for her and just hope all is under control.
Wore myself out taking down the Christmas stuff and putting it all away, but it is done and half of my cleaning up afterwards is too.
Hope everyone gets their mojo back - I had a surge this week, making funny cards and had a blast!!
Hope those of you who were under the weather are feeling better real soon - praying you all up tonight for energy and good health!
