Default tongue depressor crafts?

Ok, I have had a huge box of tongue depressors for literally YEARS following my art room where ever it moves...LOL Tonight the kids and I decided to bring them out and make some crafts with them. We have made a few 'log cabin' houses. Stars, picture frames, a jewelry box and now I am completely out of ideas! Does anyone have any other ideas? I swear since I got my job my brain has turned to mush when it comes to crafty things. *sigh*

We got some of those precut craft foam shapes and made "puppets'...like deer, snowmen, penguins...embellished with googly eyes.

Make a face of a snowman or santa with a chipboard and add a magnet to the back...We have a few of them on the tree.

OH OH OH OH - - - tongue depressor or paint can wooden sticks (that are free by the hundreds -- well maybe 2 dozen at a time) at Walm-mart - and with those you can make "fans" -- beautifully hand stamped fans to fan yourself in the summer or when your having a hot flash.

JUDY - - do you have a photo to share? Not at this moment - - let me buzz LISA and see if she does - -and let me look again to see if I do. You could use tongue depressors --and make mini fans though.

Put several sticks next to each other and glue on a decorative napkin. When dry cut apart and mix up the pieces and put back together. It makes a great puzzle.

ooh! If you have spring clothes pins you can glue them onto the tongue depresser and put a magnet on the back. They work great for holding things on the fridge! Or in a kids locker...
