Rocky Mountain Adventure

Back home from our Canadian Rocky adventure! What a holiday, we started at the Calgary Stampede and drove through the mountains to Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper, Clearwater, Whistler and finally Vancouver. The scenery was outstanding - I'm from Scotland, so used to lakes and mountains, but the scale of everything over there made our country look like a wee miniature model! We also saw lots of wildlife, including 2 bears at the side of the road which was a highlight. I've put up some photos on my Facebook if you want a peek.

Janny, sounds like a BEAUTIFUL trip. Unfortunately, I can't access your pictures. Tells me the content isn't currently available. I so want to do that trip one day!

So glad you enjoyed your trip through my beautiful part of the world and out to the Coast! We love the mountains here and are a days drive from them so don't see them often, usually once a year we head that way. We have taken the route you went many times and it never grows old.

Everywhere has beauty that nowhere else has. We want to go to Scotland one day to do some ancestral root hunting! The pictures we have seen of your lovely land just makes me want to see it all.
