Not that I don't goof once in awhile myself. I'm certainly not perfect. It's just when I'm using my Copics, I'm taking them out of the container they are in to use them and have to cap them to put them away, so I don't leave them uncapped.

Oh, bummer. You really have been having a time with those pesky fleas. I hope this time you can get them.

Bowling was a little weird...meeting wise. The management took away some of the lanes from this league. So, the secretary was scrambling trying to figure it out. It went from being 4 person teams...to 5. So, we asked another guy to join our team. Mind you we have the other couple that are new to us to bowl with. But, we've known them for a few years now. Very nice couple...and very into bowling! So, while we are trying to get it all figured out as to where everyone will sit....fill out the paperwork. The management gave 2 lanes back. So, they could go ahead and have those extra teams as 4 person ones after all. There were some new teams...but, they were late getting there...so, they left. Needless to say...we are back with our "new" team of 4.

We were really "on"!!! I bowled a 141, 140 and 152. My average is 132! The other couple bowled above their average...and so did Jack. We won all 4 games!!!!! The other team is one that we have bowled many times before. They said they had missed us!! One of them (she is the president of the league)...asked me if I took the summer off or if I had been bowling in another league. I told her we took the summer off for the Wed night one...and we bowled in another league. She said that it showed! I was really doing well! Wow!!! Nothing like being noticed!!!

We had a great time with this other couple. Plus, the other team commented that we really suit each other....it was a nice fit for us! So, several people noticed that our friends just weren't into it anymore!
Good going on the win. You did fabulous! That's weird that the bowling alley tried to change the makeup of your teams. Sounds like they were trying to fit in another league at the same time. Glad that it all worked out for you guys in the end and that you're doing well with the other couple.

My DD and family will be here for dinner on Sunday and I'll give them to her then to put on E-Bay. You would think after that purge that the drawers would be slightly empty. NOT! I surely have enough to keep me going for a long time.

I had a bad night and still felt awful this morning, so decided I could stay at home again. I hate using sick time to be sick.
oh dear, sorry to read you are feeling poorly. Do you get a flu shot? I thought I would pass on one this year since I won't be around the grandkids but my neighbor was saying how sick she got last year because of all of the elderly people in stores & around who passed it around. You just can't know!

Good luck with eBay! I would like to sell about half of my SU sets. I never seem to pull them out any more. Of course maybe when I use up my bits & pieces I will have to, lol!

Yep, I just didn't close it tight enough I guess. I do try to be careful, they were an investment!

I am having way too much fun with this fairy stuff. It's been years since I have worked with something other than paper or fabric. Kelly, when I post pictures you can let me know if you would like a mosaic table or maybe just some of the 'jewels' to make one. Mine was just a mayo lid & 3 wine corks with the white E6000 to hold the 'mosaic' tiles. I made 2 stone benches but need to find 2 more smooth stones for 2 more. I finished the little $1 birdhouse from JoAnns & it turned out very sweet. The bigger stone house is coming along nicely but it takes so long between drying each bit.

Somewhat so. Thanks. It was kind of an off and on day. At one point I felt better and thought "I should have gone to work" and then my nose started running like a faucet again, and I was back to feeling carpy again. So far okay this morning. At least enough to get through the day.

No, I don't get flu shots. Never have. This is just a cold or allergies so not really sick with fever and aches like the flu.

I kept these for a long time because I love flowers, but I haven't looked at or used them in a long time, so time to move them out. My DD has been doing pretty well with selling for me.

Good Morning...Happy Friday

I sat up and read for a while, was not ready to fall asleep...
but once I did, I slept pretty good...

No plans today, but I am sure if I think about it, there is some thing I need to do I do need to keep an eye on Daisy she was sick yesterday, actually threw up several times I may pull her food since she is not eating it and boil her some rice... I do not have any cottage cheese but I have a small piece of chicken she can have ...

Good morning, Soni. Sorry Daisy isn't feeling well. I hope today is better.
I'd love to have your 'nothing to do today' list LOL. Well.. I kind of did that yesterday so I guess today is a work day for me.

Plan is to put the closet back together today. I did get the 6 bags of carpet/ padding dumped yesterday Yay!! I'm also washing the big blankets, doing dishes (ugh) and hitting the basement hard with Home Defense. I picked up a few fleas in the studio yesterday. I do not want to bomb again so we'll see how the home defense works first.

Bob's shop on the other hand is HORRIBLE! I hated to walk out there for the trash can yesterday. We think they're coming up out of the ground where the shop/lr/dr addition meets the main part of the house. So I'm got some industrial strength yesterday and am going to hit his shop hard Sunday morning.

Soni, you guys might like the books by Hannah Alexander. I saw she has a new one out. They are Love Inspired stores... Harlequin length and quick reads. The one that released this week is book 2 in a series. Hannah Alexander is actually a husband and wife team from Springfield MO.

Ummm... would have been nice to know what stamps you were getting rid of before they went to your DD for ebay. LOL I like flowery stuff.

She probably had plenty LOL And as to mixed media, she isn't into the art journaling. She is doing vintage fabric items so selling those supplies makes sense.

I bought 2 9x12 mixed media spiral bound blank journals at WM last night on clearance. Trying to decide if I need to stock more. Maybe if I wait a bit, they'll clearance them down farther. And if they're gone then I didn't need them.

Glad you're enjoying your project. I saw a segment on YouTube where the Uof IL extension visited with this gal. She has an entire spot under a big tree that she sets up her village every year. With IL winters she has to pack everything up during the winter. I'm not sure I"d have to here but am thinking that may be what I do with the shade bed. The shade bed is at the south end of the girls' play area.

I'm hoping to get in the studio on Sunday. I need to paint the pedestal for your gazing ball. Yours is different from the one I'm doing with the swap. As soon as I can paint it and get it dry, I'll package it up along with some of the deer moss and get them in the mail.

Suzy, go you on the bowling! And that someone else noticed is really cool. Glad they got the whole lane issue straightened out. You'd think they would have had that done ahead of time. Not like this is the first time they've had leagues LOL

I had an email from my editor on Tuesday. Everything is fixed to my satisfaction so I signed my contract yesterday. Am emailing her a copy today. It is official. I have my first book contract!

I hope Daisy feels better. Poor baby.

The pellets ( white ones ) seem to work the best for ground cover, especially down south... I had to help Bill a couple of years back while I was visiting... they worked on floor of garage too, a bit messy to to water down and clean up but I did by my self... so pretty easy ....

seems the sprays, even the industrial and professional sprays are not cutting it this year in a lot of places

I had a long post bit it flew away I guess...

the white pellets for the yard seem to work better...I helped Bill a couple of years ago when I was visiting... I even layed them pout on a concrete garage floor and wet them down...messy but effective...
it seems professional and industrial strength sprays are not working this year inside or out

I am concerned, she seems to be doing this more frequently

it could be as simple as drinking the cats water as it is not bottled like hers... yuk
or anything the cats leave in the yard... or it could be a virus... either way it is sad to see her just look pathetic then just lay around... so not Daisy

thank you though

I kept these for a long time because I love flowers, but I haven't looked at or used them in a long time, so time to move them out. My DD has been doing pretty well with selling for me.
I have been getting the flu shot every year...and with me being around the kids and school functions as much as I am, I believe it had helped me... I started getting them per suggestion of my doctor, and when I was at Lisa;s store so much... so different reasons for different times but I feel it is effective ans helpful too... just my opinion

okay... I'm on a juice break. Dishes are soaking, 3rd load of blankets is in the washer, I've sprayed home defense in the closet, the stairs and throughout the basement. As soon as I opened the shop door to spray some around the door frame until I can spray the other stuff... I had some on my shoes. Grrrr.

I picked a 2-part spray from the farm store yesterday for spraying down kennels, hog pens, stables... I'm spraying it liberally all over his shop rather than trying the bombs again. We think we know where they are originating. Just can't do anything about it until Bob gets home. You know.. while his mother is here

I sprayed the floor in the studio really good. Didn't see a single flea. I'm hoping to spend time in there Sunday catching up on VSN stuff. I'm planning to go see The Butler tonight if our local theater held it over. Tomorrow is Logger's Day celebration and fireworks to cover for the paper. Sunday will by my sit-down day... I hope.

No time to rest. I really didn't have time to be sick in the first place.

Tomorrow I need to get my car serviced. I'd like to meet my GF for lunch. Need to go grocery shopping and clean house. Kids are coming for dinner on Sunday.

Ugh! Such a mess. So sorry you're having to deal with this infestation Kelly. I sure hope you can get it under control.
