Very pretty. Did you make them for yourself or will they be gifts? If you need someone to send one to, I can give you a name.

We had another rain shower come through today. Glad to see it.

I need to get a blog post up tonight and maybe schedule another one.

I also need to go look at my ScrapFest workshops and see what I need to take with me for the classes and try to figure out what I want to take to work on at the crop.

Oh, I gave Casper his meds tonight. I took a hint from the vet asst. who gave him his meds yesterday. She had him up on the table and backed against the wall, so he couldn't get away. I did the same thing on the kitchen counter and put him against the wall. I had the meds all ready in the syringe and just squirted it in his mouth. I think it would have been good to have some water in a syringe too. She did that yesterday. The meds taste terrible so they try to kind of wash it down.

Good morning Quackers! I was having Internet problems at home last night and this morning. All of a sudden last night Firefox quit working and it wouldn't connect. Thought I could just re-boot, but it didn't work this morning either. I finally had to log on to my e-mail with IE, but that doesn't work as well. Then when I tried to get on SCS, it wouldn't take my PW and I had to redo that. I also had to sign in on FB this morning. At least it took my PW for that one.

When I got to work this morning, Firefox almost didn't open either, but it finally did. I think it was trying to do an upgrade. But then it wouldn't take my SCS PW that I had just changed so had to do that all over again too. Ugh!

I did see where my niece went to Chicago to see her middle daughter Meghan, she is the one with leukemia... said she was worse... needed feeding tube in... I know she took the youngest daughter and her baby so hoping that lifted spirits...pics seems to show things ok but still pray for her daily... 26 I think now has battled this for 4 - 5 years now her choice to be alone or with friends not family... lots of history there ...

Donnie and Sue are about an hour from home...they went the regular route, making great time saying thank to God for safe travels...

Not a lot of news here. Bob left yesterday for an extra week on the boat - so he'll be gone an entire month. Ugh! On the upside I might get caught up... in time for his Mom to come visit for a week and it starts all over again LOL

I have a contract for my first novella. I haven't opened it yet. I know I'm going to have to sit and go over it word by word to not miss anything. I still may wind up finding a lawyer kind enough to look over anything I'm not clear on. Why do I feel like this book may cost me more than I'll make? LOL If all goes well, Somewhere Down the Line should be available for a Kindle near you by the first of the year sometime.

So FF is back up again and I hope it stays that way. I still have one little issue that I need him to come see about.

So sorry for Meghan. It's a hard time and not to have family around also makes it harder even when they think they don't want them there. I hope your niece can bring some joy to her. Things don't sound good if she needs a feeding tube.

Yes. Remember what I said about traveling less this year? Well, scratch that! LOL We've already made 2 trips to OK, 2 (or maybe 3) to Nashville and 2 to Springfield. The weekend after his Mom leaves we're going to Paducah KY for 3 days for my birthday then Adrian is planning a slumber party for us for Halloween weekend. Though I think I might have to go down a week-end early to do pumpkin carving. Hate to miss a year. Still thinking on that one.

Then there will be Nov. for Adrian's BD. That's just the two of us

For me alone I have 2 separate trips to AR over the next 6 weeks. One for a concert and interview with a Texas artist in Bentonville AR and one for an overnight in Eureka Springs. Though I might pull that one. Our local news channel is celebrating 60 years by doing live remotes from various locations in their viewing area. They are giving away a 60" flat screen tv at each location and you have to be present. Well darn! make me go to Eureka Springs LOL And it's on a Tuesday... aka my favorite hotel does a fabulous brunch on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. I need to email the news team about that.

So yeah... I'm tired just typing it. LOL

Okay.. I"ve sent thank-you's to everyone who commented on my TPT card last week, signed up for a swap (shakes head). I'm ready for bed. I have 5 contest entries to read tonight so I can get them judged and back to the coordinator by Friday.

Tomorrow night I have a visitation to go to, then the funeral on Friday. The guy was Bob's best friend here in MO... and guess where Bob is? So once again I am representing both of us.

It's going to be a long couple of days.
Sweet Dreams all!

It does seem like we have to spend money to get started before we make money. Whether it's taking a class to be 'approved' or whatever. Good luck with this under taking. Since it's your dream it should be fulfilled .

Kelly, I am going to pass on being in the swap but I bookmarked it foe ideas! Thanks! I love the idea of making stone chairs and benches, hmmmmm....

I am still in the planning/gathering stage for my garden but I am getting closer. Right now we are getting the 'bones' of the landscaping done. When I see where my FG will fit in perfectly I will start it.

Today I want to get those errands done. I have a bunch of Kohl's coupons so I really NEED to go there plus a HL gift card.

I did work in our front flower bed this morning. I really don't like the Builder's Special landscaping so I have changed it up, replacing some, tossing others, rearranging plants. That is almost done plus we had the sod replaced that was ruined from building the pool. I think it will take about 5 years to get everything where we want it. Gosh and we still have the inside to work on too.

Good morning Quackers.

An interesting swap Kelly and Dody. I have no idea what people will make since it is papercrafting and yet it needs to be something to be used outdoors. ??????

Dody, I've lived in my house since 1971 and I still don't have the landscaping the way I want it - almost, but not quite. I'm probably going to redo the front flower bed in the spring. I'd like to get rid of the Blue Daze and put in more perrenials.

I haven't been able to work on a TPT card in awhile. I think the new kitties inside and outside have been taking up more of my time in the evening as well as sitting on the patio.

I tried to restore but that did not fix my firefox issues I hope it works for you so frustrating

the pics looked like they had a good day she got to meet her new niece for the fist time and had a mom, a sister and brother in law and niece to love on her... prayers going up daily for restoration of family as well as her health thanks Maggie

That is almost done plus we had the sod replaced that was ruined from building the pool. I think it will take about 5 years to get everything where we want it. Gosh and we still have the inside to work on too.

Last week, I got $20 in Kohl's cash, and my mom got another $20. Earlier this week, I got one of the Kohl's "$10 toward anything in the store" cards. So, yesterday, I had $50 free dollars to spend at Kohl's. Love free clothes!!

The papercrafting part is a tag; the rest is waterproof stuff be it twigs, fabric or whatever. I think mailing could be a tricky issue.

Ya know, I never have had a yard that was how I wanted it before...ever. I just 'made do' but this time we figure it's our last shot at it

Very cool!!!! They were giving out Kohl's cash but I didn't spend enough to get any. I did however get Bud another swim suit, 4 lunch plates & the serving bowl to match what I started for outside dinnerware and a new throw rug for by the sliding door.....all for $14.95!!!!!!! Saved over $80!

I went to Cody's home game... they lost but I still enjoy watching them play ...

no plans tonight, maybe throw in a load of darks / jeans

Daisy is getting groomed at 10:00 am tomorrow sh we will be leaving before 9:00am...and we will stop at her vet's office for her Prendisone afterwards... next week is Rabie Shot and heat worm blood draw...
O might stop to get dog bones at Bog R while I am in Washington and if weather permits a fast run in at Walmart for a couple of things... If it is too hot that will have to wait

Good morning Quackers!

Soni, hope things go well with Daisy's grooming today.

Wow! With all the great savings at Kohl's I wish the one here was closer to me. It's out by where my DD lives and I just don't drive that far to go shopping.
