Those of you who use copics, do you ever use the chisle end? I never do & wonder what I'm missing out on. Also where's a good place to order refills now? I thought about trying to go to Dick Blick's when I'm in Ga, for the graduation but I think it's going to be another whirlwind visit since Bud wants to be here while the pool work is going on.

Gosh Soni! I had forgot about that!!! I remember buying lots of that cheap scrapbook paper because I thought it would be a fad. Wow, I sure was wrong there!!!!

I did my grocery shopping this morning & will spend my afternoon at the library. Cement is being poured on our retaining wall now. Bud is out watching like a little kid.

I stamped some Magnolias for you, Soni. I'll get them out tomorrow

I don't ever use the chisel end of my markers. In fact, the Anniversary set that they released don't have chisels, they have the small point which I really like. I'd love to replace the chisels with the small point on my Sketches, but the ones they now make don't fit. One of the girls that I blog with has Copic markers and refills for sale. I've been going to order some from her, but haven't done it yet. If I can get some from her I will, otherwise I would order from Oozak.com. If you want her blog address, I can send it to you and you can see if there's some that you might want.

I do use the chisel end from time to time. It's good for big spaces - like a background. You can get other nibs to replace the chisels, though, if you prefer another type.

When I order refills, I'm going to order from Carpe Diem Store: Art, Architecture, Hobby and Crafting Supplies .

Does Dick Blick have the refills? I get markers at Michael's from time to time, but they don't have refills.

Sorry your trip will be such a quick one.

Really????? I was never under that impression.

It's warm here today today, but we're supposed to get another cold front on Friday and it'll be back down into the 40's. Crazy weather.

I bought 2 plants last summer that are citronella geraniums. I don't know if they work or now. I need to plant them in the garden somewhere by my patio and hope they will help keep the skeeters away.

Maggie.....the bowling went fine. We won all 4....but, then the other team forfeited. Didn't show up at all and didn't pre-bowl. So, at that point....we take our average ...subtract 50 and when we beat that number ..we win! As for my scores....I did a 140, 125, 127. I stepped wrong on the 2nd game and my leg was sore after that. It finally worked itself out. But, for the time....that was my scores. At least we won. It always looks bad when you loose and no one else was there! The team next to us bowled the vacant team.....we have one too many. So everyone has to bowl that team that really isn't there! You can always count on getting out of there early! We then were visiting with some of the other people there. Our bowling partners are always in a hurry to leave...not sure why. Oh well.....at least we won't have to worry about that for the summer. We aren't bowling during the summer on Wed. That will feel strange. But, I'm glad we decided that because the bowling alley's ac doesn't work real well when it gets warm. Both ends of the bowling alley were warm and the center was cool. Since the desk and central operations are in the center...they don't notice. It was feeling warmer yesterday....at 1pm. I can only imagine how it will feel once it gets hot all day long. By 6pm....too uncomfortable! Been there before!
Glad you came out winners, sorry about your leg. It may be good that you're taking some time off. Seems to me you hurt yourself quite often doing that bowling. Lucky you have a good chiropractor. I wouldn't want to bowl if it were not A/C in the building.

Yes, I do...namely if I'm tired....or just throwing it too hard! I didn't sleep well the night before. I guess I was in a hurry...and then just stepped wrong. Yep, just call me "little Grace"!!!

Not me. I'm so out of the loop on SU, I didn't even know they had 25th anniversary stamps.

I checked the site and the blog and I don't see anything about the 25th anniversary or any special stamps for it.

Here you go, girls.....http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ItemL...ategoryID=1226

There is a new one each month. When you buy six stamp sets...you can send in for a free one. Just keep track of the special stamps that are in each set. I've gotten 3 so far...with the April one...butterflies on order. Each set has stamps that have been out for the past 25 years....then there is always a new one. Some of the stamps are smaller than the original size...which is pretty cool!

morning! I am home from my walk...I really need to get serious this time about losing 30 pounds! I have a group of ladies who I walk with now 3xweek so that is helping me get going.

Suzy, I looked at those stamps. It helped me alot because I realized that at one time I would have bought all of them & more. So I don't feel so bad about spending $100 on Magnolias (yeah...I bought more) But these are second hand so less than half price. I know Soni asked for some but if any of y'all want images just let me know.

Workers are framing the bath house today, yay!!!! I think we'll have workers here every day for a while now. Tomorrow the yard gets leveled flat. That will be fun!

They grow more like a vine. I may have to get a trellis for them to grow on or maybe wind around 2 of the patio cover posts. They are already about 3 feet tall since I bought them last year and they get plenty of sun light.

There is a new one each month. When you buy six stamp sets...you can send in for a free one. Just keep track of the special stamps that are in each set. I've gotten 3 so far...with the April one...butterflies on order. Each set has stamps that have been out for the past 25 years....then there is always a new one. Some of the stamps are smaller than the original size...which is pretty cool!
thanks for the link Suzy. I probably won't be getting any because I'm not really in the market for SU stamps and won't buy six stamp sets just to get one of the free ones. You must really be ordering if you've gotten 3 free ones so far.

Guess I didn't mention to you guys that I have a pregnant kitty in the back yard again! Well, I did anyway. I didn't see her this morning. I hope she didn't go and have those kittens already. I made an appointment for her yesterday to go to SNAP on Friday to abort those kittens. I just can't have anymore in my yard, and no telling if these will be friendly or feral like Casper and Corey. If she has them and I can get them, I'm taking them to a shelter for adoption.

Have you checked their Angel Policy on sharing images? This is the e-mail I got from them some time ago - As long as you do not make it a public swap and no one knows about it go ahead and share. I am leaving to go to a trade show and when I get home I will answer your question in detail. Just keep it all a secret and include just friends. I never did hear anymore back from her.

On the package they came in it said we could sell any stamped art work but not reproduce on the computer. Stamp what you want (it said) but do not reproduce.

Actually, I've bought 3 sets....Jan, Feb and March. April...the butterflies is on order. Just saw what May looks like....hmmmm. That one I might pass on! There is a sticker that you keep track of how many you have bought. After buying 6 of the 25th anniversary ones...you get a free set...valued at $14.95. Since you have the advantage of going back and buying the other months...I guess I'll wait to see what June has to offer.
