Les Miserables was sooooo good! I can't wait now until it comes out on DVD. I already love the music. My DD was saying that she didn't realize that the dialogue was all singing. Not like some movies that are talking and they throw songs in the mix.
I saw it on Thursday night. Loved It! I won't buy the DVD but it was definitely worth seeing. I'd still love to see the actual stage production. Things like that I miss Peoria for. We used to get some good productions... back when I didn't have the money to go. LOL
I'm suppose to be cleaning. So tired of looking at this house. But I wanted to log my paw points before I lose them and order another FREE coupon.
I let the furnace go out last night so I would have a comfortable house for cleaning.
Soni, take care of yourself.
Dody, safe trip home
Maggie, sorry the weather is not cooperating. When do you head home.
Shell, BRRRRR it was 33 when I went out to take pictures this afternoon. Riding would NOT have been on my agenda. Glad Jaydin liked her gift. Sending healing energy mom's way.
Suzy, glad you guys are home safe. yep.. plenty to do... always.
Karen, enjoy your long weekend. Did't you get a gift card last year for a bonus? Bet the cash on the check will come in handy though.
Did I forget anyone? I hope not. Wasn't intentional. If I did, just shout at me.
afternoon....
We have had lunch...and Jack has worked on a cabinet for me. He is fixing it where we had water damage from the leak. The stain won't be matching exactly...but, that's fine! At least it will be put together. The stain we picked had a little more red to it than the original shelves...more yellow tones. Like I said...oh well. At least it will be done!

I'm thinking that I'll get another load of laundry done. Oh, we had some excitement yesterday...Pie brought us an animal. It was close to dusk...and Pie didn't come when I called. He finally came running with a rat in his mouth. But, it turned out not be a rat or a mouse. It was shaped like a gerbil!! Jack said after he caught it in the box....it was like a ferrel gerbil! Hmmmm....got to think about that one! All I know is..when it jumped ...it reached the door knob to the back door. Yep...I got the door closed just in time...it didn't get in the house. But, it did get loose in the garage...another horror moment! But, Jack was able to snag it in a box. He was put in the witness relocation program and moved west of the house out in the trees. Let's see if he makes his way back to where Pie finds him again!

alrighty...I think I'll go and get something productive done. So surprised we don't have the bowl games on yet! We had on 2 last night....I slept through the one with Texas Tech winning.

I hope the house felt good while cleaning. I got hot while trying to get all the Christmas stuff put away.
That's chilly - and right around what we rode in on Thursday. It was cold while we were out there, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. I'm really glad the horse show today got postponed. It was cold, wet, and windy here. That would have been miserable because we would have been riding, waiting, watching, riding, watching ....
Thank you. She's not much better and is planning to not go to church tomorrow. She rarely misses church.

Is he taking all of his tanks/fish home today? That will be exciting for him, I'm sure.
It will be a long day for you. Be careful on the roads!!
howdy! Yes we took what tanks/fish he has left. Most he sold & some died but we are up & running again ...on a very small scale!
Soni, Marietta is west of Stephanie, about an hour away. Yeah; it added a good bit to the trip since they had to break down the tank & pack up. There were a few trouble spots on the drive home but we still made it in by 7 so we were happy.
I posted on the monthly challenge thread that I would start getting a list together of who wants to still do that challenge. Kelly has already said that she won't be able to join us this next go round. So, if you are still interested in doing the challenge...please let me know. I have Soni down already....along with a new lady.
Suzy, I think I need to pass again this year but by next year I should be up & running again. Jen got me some fun toys from Archivers. Have any of you seen the honeycomb paper? It's pretty cool!!! Think of those wedding bells that open up to hang.

That's right up there with I used to have the body to wear cute clothes but didn't have the money to buy them sigh; maybe this year!

Sorry to hear that news...but, understand that you are still setting up. Good that you are keeping it in mind. I think there are still 4 slots at this point. So, I'll be contacting a few people to see if they are interested....then open it up again. Or if we are that close....I might take another slot.

I do need to make some thank you cards.....might go with a winter theme. I was sorting my embossing folders yesterday. Found that I had a couple of duplicates...I guess that's not too bad! I can use them as gifts! I found a cool box for the folders...only problem is...I've already filled it up!

Thanks, Girls! Suzy if you find you need another player at the end let me know. If I can get organized I could be talked into it but right now....*shudders* the room is a mess!
That's right up there with I used to have the body to wear cute clothes but didn't have the money to buy them sigh; maybe this year!
LOL I'm trying, Dody.
I've been on the Wii every day for the past week.. and at least 3 days a week the 2 weeks before that. I'm up to an hour solid. Beginning tomorrow I add an extra 15 minutes and a new move... I'm thinking the boxing.
I might not get the 'cute' body I use to have but I will be in that little black dress (or a new 'smaller' one) by the end of April.
good for you, Kel! Thx for the Christmas card too, I just picked up our mail from our neighbor. I am having a hard time moving today...just no desire to work sitting here playing online sipping hot chocolate.
This summer I want to make a fairy garden. I am thinking a small planter or whiskey barrel. If anyone has any ideas plz pass them along. I like very natural stuff not the store bought trinkets. I will try to make a fairy house, a wishing well & a campfire. I'll need small plants/shrubs...any ideas?

Hi Quackers! I'm finally home from CA. Had a great time in spite of nasty cold, rainy weather, but we still managed to have a good time.
We did end up going out yesterday. My SIL wanted to go to a restaurant up the Pacific Coast Highway called The Cliff in Laguna Beach. It has lots of cute shops around and artist shops. Unfortunately, all the seating is outside and the chairs were all wet. Also, didn't see anyone in charge. Decided not to stay there so went further up the Coast to a place called Javier's. Food was excellent and inside. Then we drove over to Newport Beach to see the Temple there. Then on the way home, we ran into rain.
Oh, and on the way home we saw a beautiful rainbow. I was able to get pictures out the car window. I'll post some photos tomorrow.

No ideas, but it sounds like it will be so pretty.

Good going on the workout Kelly. I'm hoping to get back on the Wii also soon as well as joining WW. Good luck with the shaping up.

My room's a mess too. Hope to work on that over the next 2 days. I'm taking off from DT's this week so I don't have any pressure to get a card made for Wednesday.

I bought one storage unit for storing embossing folders, and then found another one that I liked, so now I have two. I needed more than the one anyway. Now I can expand and buy some more. Which ones do you have duplicates of?? Maybe could be enticed to purchase from you.

That is so sweet that Ali wants you with her when she buys her birthday gift. I hope you did have fun
I'll be going to the store tomorrow. I cleaned out the fridge before I left.

Hope you can get things organized enough to take part again.
I haven't been out to Archivers for awhile. It always costs me too much $$ when I go there. The honeycomb paper sounds pretty cool. Can you run it through a cutting machine to make shapes?

Sorry that your mom is not feeling much better. I hope that she can get over the sickness soon. I've still got a bit of a cough, but it is getting better.

Wow....sounds like a good little road trip. Apparently that worked out well in the long run. That wouldn't have been fun to eat outside when the chairs were wet. So....it worked out to the best! Then to go see the temple in Newport Beach...rounded out a nice outing. Can't wait to see the rainbow pictures.

Welcome back! Glad to know you got home safely. So how did you like her new house? Tell us all about it!

Hmmmmm .... small scale now, but what will it be in 6 months?? I think it's great that he has some of it with him again.
