I thought mine was bronchitis also, but I guess it wasn't. He said if I were going to be at home, he would not have given me the antibiotics. Not sure they've helped either. My right sinus is really bothering me I should go take some more Vit. C.
We were at the beach yesterday when we went to The Coronado Hotel on the Pacific. None of us were really dressed for a walk on the beach. The waves looked like they were coming in pretty good.

Good Morning ! Merry Christmas !Happy Birthday Jesus !
I do not think I have ever slept in until 8:00 on Christmas morning , I guess there are perks to growing older lol
I seem to feel a little better, yesterday morning I was really bad, but as the day went on I had more strength and less coughing ...I kept the temp in the house fairly cool last night, that really helps so much
I am enjoying my tea almost as much as I enjoyed my hot bath and Hot Ovaltine last night ...woo hoo I can taste again
Merry Christmas Quackers. Everything is still quiet here this morning. Gad! There's a million gifts (well, maybe not quite so many) under and around the tree and even on it! These girls are going to be so spoiled!

I'm still hacking and blowing. Took the last of my Zpac last night, so I hope this will get better soon. Taking the Robitussin every 4 hours. That at least keeps it coming up.

Well bath room is cleaned, floors are mopped and swept, windex has been used and the chicken smell sooo good !
and I finally have clean hair lol
I have no doubt the clean hair is what is making me feel better ...
this is the most laid back Christmas morning I have ever had... but music is playing and I think I have every thing done ... just waiting for my family ...I hope they are having a great morning in their homes with their families ...
I do remember the real reason of the glorious day
~ but I also love to see the excitement in littles ones eyes ~ I have no clue how these 2 wonderful happenings came to be on this same day ~ but I say thank you for all today brings
LOL, it was nice. Bud had a rare bird he wanted to see about 2 1/2 hours from here. I decided that I didn't want to saty home alone on Christmas Eve & hey, it's a beach! So I took a book & read by the bay (Anna Marie Island) then we had lunch on the Pier so that was nice. He decided he wanted to shop at 6 & we then went to a few stores that weren't letting people IN just OUT silly man!!! Got home around 7 to make dinner & bathe the stinky girls. It was a very different Christmas Eve here!!!!

same here; I talked to Jen & Stephanie but have not heard from Justin yet. The sweet potato casserole is ready & in the warming drawer the ham is ready too. I made cream cheese icing for the other cinnamon rolls & we like that much better.
Reinventing Christmas has some perks & some 'aw, man' moments but it is what it is!

Great news! Maybe you can enjoy your day. Just don't tire yourself out. Let others do.
Sorry for the family's loss. Yes, I understand the relief. Everything happens the way it is suppose to.
I hope Becky can behave today. If Mom's not feeling well, she certainly doesn't need the aggravation.
Hugs sweetie! So happy Jared will be home. Are you surprising Jaydin again LOL I would imagine surprising her is getting harder to do.
Things went great on Sunday with Becky. She only had 3 of the 6, but it was fun and everyone had a good time. She had the other 3 (all 6) last night at the Christmas eve service.
Thanks.
No, she knew he was coming in because he mentioned it when he was here in September. She was counting down the minutes this time.
sounds like you have some amazing new friends
Merry Christmas Kel
I have truly been blessed this year, Soni. Between the Texas artists, reconnecting with James in Nashville after 25 years and making new friends with the Polish Sinfonia... yeah... I couldn't have asked for more.
heeheehee, I didn't mean for you to take that so literal! Of course there are plenty of folks who adore snow or no one would live north. But most of the folks who say "I wish it would snow" around here have not lived in it or maybe I am just hangin out with southerners more than not.
Hahaha! I am just amused that I hear so many up north say that they hate it, but she absolutely loves it. I think I would be one of those. Here's her status update today -
Woohoooooo!! We're finally going to get some significant snow tomorrow night into Friday!! We haven't had that in almost 2 years! Calling for 15 inches!! Yayyyy!! The kids are going to have a ball! So is Jazz!! He is a winter dog!
Sorry for the family loss for Mark's family. Not a fun thing at holiday season time.
Hope your mom is feeling better today. It will be great to have all the family there including Jared. How much time does he have? Does he still have his GF from there?
Thanks. We didn't know the lady, so it doesn't really affect us at all.
Mom is still sick. She's better today than she has been, but still sick.
Jared is home for a week or so. Yes, he and Elizabeth are still together. She and I are getting closer. We have a lot in common on the 'art/creative' side of things.
I'm going to get caught up on some of my free image downloads that are still available so I can clear out my mailbox. Then curl up with the Smooth Jazz channel and a pillow. I have to be out of here by 9 in the morning Uhg.
I did see on the weather where we are already in a Winter Storm Watch through Wed sometime... leaving us about 8" of the white stuff...
If you hurry, Shell.. you guys can come have a white Christmas with me!
Drat. We missed it.
We're having a very rainy, foggy day. That's fine with me. I'm not going anywhere.
Just checking out the weather. I see possible tornado watches/ warnings for you Shel. Be careful down there. Still think you should have come spent Christmas with me. We're looking at up to 8" of snow. I know that would have broken your heart LOL
We are at 34 degrees this morning. I am enjoying a cup of coffee while my curling iron heats up. Then I'm out the door to get these two photo shoots done and come home to stay put.
Yep ... we had thunderstorms yesterday, and they are calling for more nasty weather tonight. That's ok. We're dry, safe, and sound. Jared is out right now. He went with Elizabeth to a family thing.

Sounds like a fun day even though different. Who's to say you have to be conventional.

That's great that you and Elizabeth have things in common to be able to spend time together and have things to talk about.
We've had a really nice day - low key. The girls got up about 8 - 9. We watched them open their stockings and then gifts were passed out to everyone and we started opening. I was waiting for the girls to open gifts that I gave them. There were tons of gifts for everyone. We had Panera Bread bagels for breakfast (or lunch by that time). We've been playing games and just hanging out. Lisa and Don are taking the dog for a walk. We'll probably play more games or watch movies. I'm getting hungry and think I need a ham sandwich.

I'm one of those that absolutely LOVES snow. I don't mind driving in it either. The only thing I really don't like about snow is the shoveling. But I do shovel, just not any more than absolutely necessary.

Kelly, it was 41 when I woke up' yeah you are still colder!!!! But our heat came on for the first time ever! and it came on a lot!
41* would be wonderful, of course I'd lose all my snow but it was kind of cold at 2* when I left for work this morning. Yep, that's right, I had to be to work at 10:00am on Christmas Day. I volunteered to work 6hrs. It is mandatory that we "volunteer" for 2 holidays per year. So when I was hired back last February, I put down Christmas Day as one of the days I would work. Christmas is on the 24th with Davina and family and then I always thought that the 25th should be their day - stay home and enjoy each other.
Too bad Davina's in-laws didn't take the hint. Chad's step-mother "insists" that they have to come on the 25th. This year Chad's mom had her Christmas on the 22nd. But it is a special circumstance for them to also go to Chad's grandma's today - Chad's grandpa passed in October and so this would be first year for Grandma Mary - so after 58+yrs kids and grands thought it would be best not to have her be alone for the first one. Guess I can understand that.

I don't blame you on the shoveling. That's so exhausting.

She was asleep when they got here, so we started with out her,
Once she was awake she joined us...
She loved her baby and home made blanket for baby, and laid on her pillow and said Ni - nite the best was her wearing the Mickey Mouse Santa hat and saying HO HO HO oh my too funny
We had supper and then did Santa presents ay grandmas ...
Now they are all gone, my floors are mopped and swept again, funny what new cowboy boots can do to floors lol
