Me too. I'm thinking I should just delete all the leftover messages in my Inbox and Sent Box on New Year's Eve and start over fresh on New Year's Day.

We stayed home and got stuff done today. It was a great day. And, after the last two that I've had, I needed a good day at home.

Tomorrow, we have church and are getting together with Becky and her family. My mom is sick, so we'll see how that goes. It's going to be at Mom's house.

He should be home ... soon. I'm looking forward to having my family together this year for Christmas.
Sorry for the family loss for Mark's family. Not a fun thing at holiday season time.

Hope your mom is feeling better today. It will be great to have all the family there including Jared. How much time does he have? Does he still have his GF from there?

My immunes must be pretty good if you look back back at how the boys were here when they were sick and Krista with bronchitis and pneumonia Plus just out shopping ...

The cough is productive today so all of the junk is moving and hopefully running its course ...

The beach sounds like Heaven right now
It is 21 with the high to be 31 ... and Sunny I am hoping to go get tradition gifts all wrapped up and in bags , I am going to town ( hopefully ) So I will call Tammy to see if she can meet me or I can just take it to her ... They need theses gifts by tomorrow * sigh This sure is not how I had it planned ...
I thought mine was bronchitis also, but I guess it wasn't. He said if I were going to be at home, he would not have given me the antibiotics. Not sure they've helped either. My right sinus is really bothering me I should go take some more Vit. C.

We were at the beach yesterday when we went to The Coronado Hotel on the Pacific. None of us were really dressed for a walk on the beach. The waves looked like they were coming in pretty good.

I always ended up doing mine on Christmas Eve also and was up way too late. So glad that I'm done early this year and can just sit back and relax.

Denton is up where Suzy lives around the Dallas area. That's about 4 hours from me. It's an overnight trip usually. I could do 3 hours in one day up and back, but 4 hours is a bit much.

The choir performance Friday night were great. I neglected to bring an extra camera card with me so I didn't have enough room on my camera to do a full video of their song. Amanda's group was on first. They did 3 songs. I thought I could attach the short video here, but it wouldn't let me.

Yesterday we drove down to see the San Diego Temple. It's so beautiful there. We wanted to go back on the way home and see it at night with all the lights on it, but we actually drove back a little earlier so we didn't see the lights. This picture turned out really cool. My DD too, it. There are flower beds around the Temple and she got down on her knees, put the camera in the flower bed pointing up through the flowers and took the photo so the flowers are imposed on the Temple.

It's gorgeous. The owners over the years have really sunk a lot of $$ into it and have really done a great job refurbishing it. They even have an ice skating ring behind the hotel. My youngest DGD wanted to go try it, but it was $25 and my SIL said he wouldn't spend that much for her to go skate for 15 minutes. The Grand Floridian in Orlando at Disneyland is fashioned after it.

Cool shot!
I've always wanted to go out to a air turbine farm, lay at the base of the cluster and shoot up into the sky.

I haven't checked out all the details of the conference yet to even know when. I do know that it is populated by mostly editors of Texas publications and it is geared towards the freelance writer so combine that with Texas being my main field of interest and it sounds like where I need to be.

We're watching the Seatle/49r's game on TV. Just had some cheese and crackers. Lisa made us pasta and salad earlier for lunch after church. Now we're just snacking.

My Broncos game got bumped for our area but Kitty was kind enough to text me that we won. 10 games in a row and we're in the playoffs next week. So I'm happy.

I've not been able to find anything on TV worth watching so turned on the holiday music channel with the surround sound.

I did get to watch a House Hunters International I recorded yesterday. They were in Krakow Poland. Thought it would be cool to see where the Polish Sinfonia group originate from. Very pretty old-world district.

The 49rs - Seattle game is like watching a train wreck. It's 21 - 0 right now. Not 49r's.

Krista and Cody just stopped in, he opened his birthday present finally... and he liked both gifts Woo ho for Gramma
I got him NBA 12 for his PS2 unit and a really cool Cubs snow globe~ he wants to keep it out all year

Ah my sweet boy was back tonight ( Cody ) now he wants to make presents for everybody tomorrow ...I guess gramma will be busier than she thought tomorrow but that is fine, I am the one that has tried to get them to make things every year ~ this year with Cody's attitude and sports schedule it just did not happen...

And Krista took the stocking I got Donovan home , I put some candy in it, and Ali is putting her gift in it too ... the stocking had a boys head with a hat with ear flaps like Donovan wears~ I could not resist ...lol

I think him and Ali are going to exchange gifts tonight too ...

I'm going to get caught up on some of my free image downloads that are still available so I can clear out my mailbox. Then curl up with the Smooth Jazz channel and a pillow. I have to be out of here by 9 in the morning Uhg.

I did see on the weather where we are already in a Winter Storm Watch through Wed sometime... leaving us about 8" of the white stuff...

If you hurry, Shell.. you guys can come have a white Christmas with me!

Late Night QUACKS... Krista came over to show me pics of what Donovan got Ali and we finished up a big pillow for Dustin and she made Ali's blanket too ... So her gifts from her to all three of her lids are done Woo Hoo

She says she will help wrap tomorrow, but I want the kids to be able to make pretzels and maybe candy too so we shall see ... I hope she can enjoy some time at home with her kids too

Keiths dad and Vikki let them all choose what they wanted at Farm and Fleet for Christmas... Cody got cowboy boots, Krista got boots, Ali got 2 pair of Jeans. Dusting got a hoodie that zips up over his face and Keith got gloves and a sweatshirt I think... So that was a nice family outing ...

Ok I am ready for bed, I hope you all have a very Merry day tomorrow

Good morning and Merry Christmas Eve ladies.

Just checking out the weather. I see possible tornado watches/ warnings for you Shel. Be careful down there. Still think you should have come spent Christmas with me. We're looking at up to 8" of snow. I know that would have broken your heart LOL

We are at 34 degrees this morning. I am enjoying a cup of coffee while my curling iron heats up. Then I'm out the door to get these two photo shoots done and come home to stay put.

We are at 34 degrees this morning. I am enjoying a cup of coffee while my curling iron heats up. Then I'm out the door to get these two photo shoots done and come home to stay put.
I have not checked our weather yet...

I was up earlier, with a head ache so I took some meds and went back to bed ... I am coughing up a lot of junk, So at least this stuff is moving ... I hope it moves right on out soon

I am glad I am having at home day! I may stay in my fleece jammies all day to ...

Merry Christmas Eve to each of you ~ how ever you are spending this day , I hope there is love and happiness involved and that you all remember the REAL REASON

I did see on the weather where we are already in a Winter Storm Watch through Wed sometime... leaving us about 8" of the white stuff...

If you hurry, Shell.. you guys can come have a white Christmas with me!
I woke to the sound of rain hitting the A/C unit outside the window at 4 a.m. Ugh! Took me awhile to figure out what it was. I was just saying yesterday how quiet it is here. Guess not when it rains. I was able to doze back off to sleep, but it was off and on the rest of the time till I got up at 7.

It's supposed to clear up and then rain again on Wednesday.

Merry Christmas Eve to all of you! Lisa is taking Tucker to the vet this morning and running errands. If the weather wasn't icky, I might have offered to go with her, but I really don't want to be out in this weather when I'm still trying to get over my ickies. She needs to bring him home after the vet before she goes to run her errands.

Maybe the girls will want to play a game whenever they get up.

Good idea staying in, Maggie.
Keep coughing, Soni! LOL
I am watching the noon news and see they've shifted our weather forecast. We're now looking at 10+ inches potential. As I went into Mt. View and back this morning, I caught up with our Country highway truck spreading liquid salt in anticipation of the weather tonight. Seems a bit early too me but they keep an eye on things so guess we'll see.

Once I got out of the house, it didn't take long to get the photos taken at both of the banks. Our gas prices are down to $2.99 a gallon! I filled up the truck. Probably should take the Vitara into Winona and fill it up too but I'm already in my fleece comfys.

I stopped at Memories for Gumbo then came home. The kennels are cleaned, the dogs, cat and birds all have plenty of food so I won't have to go out in the weather tomorrow.
Now I'm just ready to stay in and wait for it to hit.

My GF from Canada and I are celebrating Christmas tonight, opening presents and watching our favorites Black and White movies while we visit.

Now I am resting, enjoying some hot tea~ I need to put bows on some packages, and place them under the tree,

then finish up pretzels, clean out my fridge, and get ready ...

K & K and family are coming here to open tradition gifts and bring me supper yum love K's lasagna

then I need to finish wrapping three gifts and then wrap the Santa gifts ...

I will be more than ready for a hot bath and an early night in bed ...

I could not have gotten it all dome today with out help ~

Glad that you were able to get everything accomplished Soni with help from the family,

Oops. Glad that they were able to get tomorrow covered. That would NOT have been a good thing to let slip through the cracks.

Everything is quiet here. I think I'm going to upload a bunch of photos to FB and Snapfish so I can get them off my camera.

Hello Maggie, glad you are getting a chance to just relax out there too ...soak up all the "family time " you can

Today has been a very different type of day for me to spend on Christmas Eve... It has been really nice ~ Having Krista and the kids fill the house with laughter and simple noise was delightful ~ and I only had to wrap 7 gifts~ wow
well until I go down later to get Santa all squared away

I am in sweats, I have not washed my hair, or cleaned any of the house, other than my refrigerator... it is all sparkly clean

Pretzels are all finished, dishes are all done ... I may go get an early bath before the kids come back ~ I have not decided on that yet

I hope you all have enjoyed your day , however you spent it

My mom did so much of their Christmas, that I wanted some thing special from us~

So Mommy and Daddy always got the girls new Pj's, a book and a new stuffed animal Later when they were teens Wally started getting them something on his own ~ I always did the shopping ~ so it wasa treasure for the girls, they loved to see what "DADDY" got them

My reasoning was when pictures were snapped on Christmas morning, there would not be ratty pj's. or some ragged doll or animal~ and when we read their new book, it was time to go to bed so SANTA could come

The other tradition was to always read "TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS " and have hot cocoa too ...

When Tam and Krista Left home they still wanted tradition GIFTS AND OF COURSE WHEN THE GRANDS CAME IT WAS EXTENDED TO THEM Now I do not always do stuffed animals Tammy loves snomen, Krista loves Reindeers, so I sneak those in, Ali some times gets an ANGEL
... I ordered Cody a basketball pillow this year since his room is trans formed over to sports~ guess what is on back order ??
Some years it is fun to see what I can come up with ~ this year Tam and Krista did not get animals but they got treats for their favorite dog ~ One year I found screen cleaners that were animals, perfect for when Ali got her Netbook

Some years it is just a pain lol
when they were young I loved Kohls charity books and animals
Webkins helped a lot a couple of years too ...

Tradition gifts are to be opened on Christmas eve no matter where any of us are ...the kids usually call to say thank you ... it is fun, and most years I love the challenge ...
that is very sweet!!! a great idea to pass along.
