Well, I've put Bob in charge of supper so guess I should think about breakfast and get our day started. So much to finalize today. Will check in tomorrow when I can breathe. Hope ya'll have a good day.
Kelly...I noticed that too...after you mentioned it. I wasn't on last night when we got home. Not sure what it means...but, it's on all of them apparently. It's on the monthly challenge, this one...haven't checked the games. But, I'm sure it's there too. It would be nice to have instructions included! LOL

And now it's gone. LOL Maybe they were checking to see if we were paying attention.
breakfast is out of the way, Bob had gone to help a buddy. I have symphony music on Sirrus and am getting ready to work on the article. Soon as I figure out what the dogs are carrying on about. Very distracting. hehe

Nope. I did see it earlier on my blog groups, but looks like it's gone now.
I had a message from Deb...she went hunting this morning. Hope she does well...she wasn't sure what sort of set up there was. She didn't think there were any deer blinds to sit in.

congratulations! Who does it belong to?????? Boy???? Girl?????
Thanks! The baby is a little girl....3rd child in this family. The grandma is Jack's cousin. So, that would make the mom of the baby (daughter of Jack's cousin) his second cousin. Her DH is stationed at Ft. Hood. She has two other children...a little boy and a little girl. Both are currently visiting grandma in Ohio.

taking a lunch break. Congrats on the new addition to the family. Definitely an easy birthday to remember. My baby girl (Kassie) turned 16 today. Just doesn't seem possible. Wish I could have been there to surprise her.
I am making progress on the article. Have to draw out 2 different floor plans to accommodate a 72 square foot work space. This would go so much faster if my head wasn't clogged. But determined to get it done today so I can enjoy Christmas with Bob this weekend. The editor needs it by Friday anyway
Hi Guys! I actually got out today went Christmas shopping alone. I was gone most of the day & I am tired but I did get some good shopping done. Time is running out!

Late after noon QUACKS~
well Tammy did not get to go for Santa pic, Brooke had home work and she has a concert at school tonight
Krista called and needed me to watch Dustin for about 30 minutes if I was home...so I cut my shopping trip a bit short... But I did pretty good ... I found some thing for Tammy, finished up Ali and Brookes pj's, got some thing else for Tammy , took back a video , found some stocking stuffers, saved enough at Kohls to get some Kohls cash so it was a good day
Keith was home sooner than they thought he would be , so I am home and off to find some thing for supper... I may try to go thru gifts , or I need to get a couple of mire cards ready to go out ...

okie dokie, supper is done, dishes too , receipts put away, a load of laundry going, critters all fed
I need to update my check book with 2 debits today, and look online for a special gift ...and update my list : )
I may just relax this evening, and plan my tomorrow...
I need to run to Elmwood, just 10 miles away, but not sure if I want to go shopping again or stay home and clean and sew and wrap...
I did not get to Walmart today, so I do need to try to get that done ...

I went with 2 of the camping sets for her dolls. I bought the Our Generation from Target not American Girl. Even then this stuff adds up quick I think she will enjoy having stuff for her dolls (hope so!) I also got pjs for Jen's kids. Ty may end up with a gift card for gas if we don't come up with anything better. Tanner needs new drumsticks, a stick bag & drumstick tape, mallets.... guess I need to get online...
Tomorrow I'll wrap & regroup. I just finished book #96...Same Kind of Different As Me. It was an eye openener (is that really a word) about homeless people, sharecroppers, and how God works thru us all....rich and poor.

Yeah for you! Glad you were able to get so much done.
I did good today too. Got Wanda taken care of. She's resting still in the trap in the garage. Don't want to put her out in the cold tonight. Casper (it's a boy) is at my GF's house and she said he was doing okay. He didn't run and hide in his little litter box when she walked in the room. We traded out the traps so I brought the newer one home. Set it up in the yard with some more good food and guess what! Had that other kitty in that trip in about 10 minutes! So I get to do this all over again tomorrow. After I pick it up I'll take it to my GF's house so she'll have both of them, and I'll just have Wanda. Hopefully she can tame them and we can find them some good homes.

It all sounds good.
Oh, doll things are so expensive. It's like furnishing your own home. Glad that my girls have outgrown the A.G. stuff.
I got a few more gifts delivered today. Now need to get a box so I can ship some of it to my DD in CA. I don't want to have to pack this stuff and take it with me. I'm hoping after my shower to get my labels done for my cards. No, I'm not handwriting those envelopes.
Suzy, I almost forgot to tell you that I got your beautiful Christmas card in the mail. It's perfect for me. Love the sparkles. Thanks so much for thinking of me.
Shell, that's how I sew best, patterns are the pits. I would like to learn how to make my own patterns. Once when Justin was in high school the drama teacher wanted him to wear tails (as in tux) she gave me an old sports coat & asked if I could turn it into a butler's uniform. Geeeze, are you kidding me???? Somehow I managed to cut the front off at the waist & add that to the back. Don't really know how it worked out but it did!!! I think I was channeling my grandpa, the tailor. I just took a deep breathe & said "Grandpa, I need your help on this one!"
Yeah, I would like to do that, too. I would like to have a 'pattern' of the drawing set that I did. I wrote out the instructions before I did it so that I wouldn't forget a step (and wait until the end to embroidery, for example...).
LOL!!!! That's wild. I don't think I could pull that off at all! You're brilliant in your ability to do that kind of thing.
Shell, do your boys play drums? I am looking at sticks for Tj but not sure what's a good brand, goodness all this stuff is pricey!
Yep! They both do. Let me check with Jonah. I'm not sure he has a preference. It's more the size and feel of the sticks that influence what kind he gets. All drummers have a difference preference on that. Jonah likes the lightest sticks he can find. One brand he has is Stagg and another is ProMark.
And yes, they get quite pricey.... There are no cheap hobbies, anymore.

my oldest brother has played drums most of his life... he has his own preference, but I wonder if a gift certificate to a music store where they live might not be a good idea!~ he could go choose what he likes best
I know I do not like to use gift cards ~ but some things I almost have too any more

That's probably the best idea in this case. Each person wants a different feel in their sticks. Some like the fat ones or the heavy ones ... others, shorter and light. There are just so many options ... and just as many preferences by the drummers themselves.
A stick bag, though, is something you can't really go wrong with. I found an embroidered patch of Animal (from the Muppets - he's a drummer, too), and if you could find it, you could add it to a stick bag for him. Just a thought.
I'm not sure what else he might need, but other thoughts for drummers are - drum heads, cymbals, high hats, double bass peddle ...

You aren't kidding. There's NOTHING on tonight. Bleh.

awww gee thanks, not really tho...it just happened. You're way ahead of me in the embroidery...I just have not touched any of that in over a year.

thx y'all!!! He needs mallets & heads too I am thinking a nice stick/mallet bag. He is doing so well with the drums. He is 1st chair & he's only a freshman! Ty says some seniors are not happy about that.

great minds again..and it will last longer. oh that's a fun idea! he would love that, maybe another time.
