I know that I have a cake plate that is still in the box. It's a round one....I guess I thought I would make cakes for something. Yeah...right! Then I thought I would use it in the bathroom to hold my perfume. I'm using an antique cute glass for that. So, I'll have to look for that....I'm sure I know what cabinet it's in!

hey nice scores, good and consistent
Fun is what it is all about ! at least it was for me
thanks...yes...it has to be fun for me! Otherwise, I don't bowl well. My GF was a little more into it at first. But, she lost interest in it later on. Not sure what the deal is there. She had a good score at the end too.

I did get Marylou's card done for TPT...I went CAS ~I know , hard to believe ~ I tried embossing, adding ribbon , but I just did not like it so I went back to basics lol , but I think it looks good with the image... and it is up on my blog I will add a link to her story after it is posted tomorrow
Dustin was hungry for a snack so he had FOUR pieces of toast with jelly and milk... after 2 slices of turkey,2 helpings of green beans and 2 dishes of applesauce for supper... I do not know where he puts it...
I had the voice on, and enjoyed what I heard, I was out here most of the time checking things online or looking things up ...
I think it is time for Ovaltine and a book #98 is waiting
Good morning Quackers. Cold here this morning. My temp thing says 43, but it feels colder in the house. Still haven't put the heater on. Had the space heater on in my bedroom.
I'll have to check out the cards Soni. I'm not planning to get mine up on my blog until Thursday. I don't really like doing more than one post a day.

Good Morning ...I am up early. no reason, just could not sleep.
Donnie did call yesterday and today with a change in plans, but he is still trying to get here... I am sad to say today he sounded quite upset about things not going right... I told him to stop fussing, get in the car and head out... I know he is over whelmed too, and needs to get away. Even if they do not come here, they need to go some where . But It would be so wonderful to have them here for Thanksgiving dinner... In all honesty, for any days they could be here, I would be so thankful .
I am running one errand today, after I get myself presentable..then I will be taking pictures and adding thing to the online garage sale...I need to pull out a few things here that I thought of too besides Wally's clothes...
I did check out a few more things for ebay as well ...
My card for Marylou is ready to mail with a short note inside... I need to get their Thanksgiving card ready to go out as well...
Good morning, ladies.
I have a ton of writing to do today. I've updated my blog and am getting ready to post my card for Marylou in the gallery. I like how it turned out and it felt really good to play yesterday. I'll have to do it more often.
Kel I have 2 sets of plates with the leaf pattern, a turkey platter, a cookie jar, a pie plate , a small dish for dips a vase I think a gravy boat too ... I only use the pie plate and I used to set the cookie jar out...
I also so a complete bisque set of Christmas pieces from Party light never opened, along with several different every day and holiday pieces from them too ...
If it is packed away in boxes~ why do I need it ????
I understand. Remember the vintage serving dishes I used at all my gatherings? Bob built my sideboard to store them in. I don't entertain here like I did in Lacon. I see ladies in Cloth Paper Studios use the dishes for glitters, bling, buttons, etc in their studio. I know THAT would never be an option for me. LOL Spirit would think I put out pretty toy boxes just for him. hehe. Haven't decided what I do want to do with them. But I know they haven't hit my 'purge list' just yet.
morning! Laundry and random stuff to do today. Joy!
Sounds like my day. I'm waiting for the sun to burn off the frost but then I have a load of sheets ready for the line. We're at 24 degrees right now but should hit the upper 40's again today
I remember my friends having Princess House parties but that was not in our budget. My crystal is mostly Longchamps from the outlets in Mrytle Beach or was given as gifts. We rarely use it but it looks pretty in the china hutch. I guess behind glass doors ya can't tell the 'good' stuff from the bargin stuff
hmmmm, I looked in my gallery for the card I sent MaryLou....I thought it was the same image Kelly used but all I found was one with a bunny on it.....I am losing my mind???? LOL!!! It is not unusal for me to make a few of the same card using different images...and I really thought I had a bear but maybe it was a bunny.... ah well, I hope she likes it whatever it was.

LOL It wasn't in our budget either. I was blessed with a circle of friends with Soni. Something about when she handed you a catalog and said I need X $ you ordered or booked a show. And when you booked a show from Soni, all those people came to yours and ordered... for the same reason. She might be a mini-quack but you don't want to argue with her LOL

I've known days like that. LOL Marylou will be amazed at the outpouring of love from people she doesn't know. The image on the card is never important.. it's the thought behind it. Thank you for playing
So far my morning seems to be on track. I've put two loads of laundry on the line. We're at 41 now but the sun is shining and it is gorgeous outside.
I just finished a mini breakfast pizza. Thinking I might need another one. They are on 1/2 an english muffin.
I've emailed the Bellamy Bros. Found out yesterday they have a book coming out next year. Because I've known the guys forever I wanted to put a request in for a review copy. Also asked for some interview time when we meet up in Paducah in April. Bob's home that week so I'm thinking I might take a couple days that weekend and enjoy the artsy area.
Oh and Dody... guess what I discovered in Springfield Sat? We have a Hancock Fabrics!! LOL Nothing like the main store in Paducah, I'm sure but Oh man.
I also discovered the big fabric store - for designers - is GONE! I would walk through there fingering the trims and fabrics... ::: sigh :::: Didn't have time to stop and ask the new store owners if they knew anything about their where abouts. I'm hoping they just relocated.
Is that the Paducah Hancocks or the chain one? I just love raiding my stash & having the right stuff on hand. I have not added anything to my stash in a long time but I sure have used up a good bit this year. Next year I am due for a shopping spree. I have googled the quilt shop here in Mt Dora but have not allowed time to visit it yet.

The chain store, unfortunately. Thankfully I can get to the Paducah store several times a year (well, at least when I'm alone hehe) but I never spend anything. I don't need to LOL But I do like to drool.
Okay, I've left love on all the TPT cards so far. Just finished writing a CD review. Have one small project to pound out then I can go back to my novel.
For once, the heroine is not a 20-something. She's our age connecting with someone from her past. I'm totally enjoying this story line. Would love to hear your thoughts on the blog.
I'm home, but I don't think I can catch up today. My laptop crashed .... again. I've been on the phone with Dell (while I washed clothes and unpacked stuff), and we're waiting on approval for them to send me a replacement system.
We had a rough time getting home last night. It was dark and raining, and there were no reflectors on the lines on 75 N. NOT cool. I couldn't see anything. It was awful. We did make it home safely, but .... it was NOT a fun ride home.
We had a wonderful, wonderful vacation. It's one that none of us will forget.
Today, I'm washing, going through mail (got my challenge envie, Krista!!), and trying to wrap my brain around the fact that next week is Thanksgiving.
Oh ... something cool - we sent Flat Jaydin home with some friends on the cruise ... they were going to Orlando, Washington DC, NY, and Hawaii, though, before going back home ... to Australia!!! It will be so cool to hear about FJ's newest adventure.
We were going to wait to get Stormie tomorrow because we were going to stay home to get things unpacked and to get settled today. However, we are going to get Stormie today. I found out that my niece (Angie) decided to take Stormie out to play with her ..... though I expressly and emphatically told her NOT to take her out of the cage. I'm sooooo frustrated with that.

How cool! She's certainly having lots to share with Jaydin, isn't she.

I took some some to the consignment shop. picked up the tub of Wallys clothes from my friend and stopped at the bank...I just ate a late lunch so after I relax a few minutes I will start taking pics of clothes and post more on the online site
I need to go see how many more cards are in the gallery for Marylou, I had commented on all up to a point earlier...I am trying to sat thank you to each lady...this really means so much to me...Bill did receive my email telling him to start checking mail, and he liked the story and how it was written so that made me feel good... I mailed mine today so I am hoping some may start arriving by Saturday
I did find a few more things that should bring in $ on ebay...and I have not even thought of stamps...I may have Ken show me how to list and sell, those I could manage weighing and shipping I think...for now it is worth a small % for him to handle it all...If I do stamps maybe I can build up my name for later so I can do it on my own
Soni, I sure hope that you get great returns for all of your eBay & garage sale things. Maybe God had you get those things so long ago so you would have the income now.

You know, Wally always laughed and said, it is only "worth" that if there is some one that wants it~ so we shall see
But yes I am so thankful for any thing I have , if it is meant to be sold then maybe that is why I never used or displayed some of it
Keith helped me think of a few things of Wallys, too larger items, snow blowers, new trimmer some things I will never use...so more research on that ...

I have a nasty head ache, not sure why... I wonder if I need my eyes examined, I want to hold off until after the holiday...I hope I can
I have noticed that watching tv, reading or being on the computer seems to set a head ache in... but then some times so does movement... so maybe vertigo...

Hope you were able to get lots of writing done today. Your card is so sweet. I know she's going to love it.

Was it one that you previously did? I didn't see anything new.
