It is big, but I think it's going to really help with making the washing go quicker.... I can probably get 2.5 of my normal loads (if not more) into just one load now. I can wash a full king-sized comforter/bedspread/quilt, along with all of the bedclothes that go with it.

I think that it will make it easier for Jaydin to start doing her own clothes. Right now, she can't reach into the bottom of the washer tub to get the clothes. We got the pedestals, too, so we don't have to bend way down to get in and out of those.

Yes! I saw that. I looked it up when you posted it. I think that's a great machine. You will really enjoy it.

LOL!!! I used to sip my daddy's beer when I was a kid - just a sip every now and then that he let me try. I will pass on *ever* drinking one. LOL!! Just totally NOT my thing.

I love sending Christmas cards and as much as I hate the PT, I'll probably keep on sending them and hopefully get back on track with my birthday cards getting sent out.

Even before I dropped alcoholic beverages from my diet, I never did like the taste of beer. Eww. . .

Yes, it will. I'm really excited about being able to get it done faster. I'm going to love the steam option on the dryer, as well. Oh, and the sanitizing on the dryer!! I can put stuffed animals, bags (like backpacks, etc), and whatnot in there to sanitize things that can't be washed. Really cool.

Here's the dryer.

I have heard reports of front loaders being hard to repair. Also they hold water and really stink. Try to remember to use the cleaners & run an empty was every so often. I had my Duet for about 5 years with no trouble but I know others who hated it. The pedestals will be great, are you going to build a folding table over the set? Jaydin's little clothes will get lost in there!!!

Ah ... you had a Whirlpool, didn't you? They require a certain cleaner. The Samsung and LG have tub cleaning cycles that don't require cleaners of any kind. I also don't keep the door of my washers closed. That helps with the mildew odor. I have done that for a long time, but the sales guy suggest it, as well.

LOL! Fortunately, her 'little' clothes aren't so little anymore!

I agree Maggie, mailing Christmas cards is just a part of me...
I know how I enjoy receiving cards, so I hope to continue...
In the big picture that postage is just a little thing, compared to other things during the season... just an opinion tho

I can't really tell when looking at the drum, so I have to look at the cubic feet just to get some judgement on the size it is. I don't have any idea how big the one I have is, but I know that I need bigger.

I didn't pay the price listed, either. We got a very good deal on the washer because they had none in stock. We are getting the floor model. I don't usually do that, but it has the normal warranty and the extended warranty, as well. I think it will be fine.

ah well my machines came with a chart to explain the weight of things...like how many big towels or pairs of jeans or what size bedspread equaled how much weight... that made it easy for me ...

with just me , I guess I will not need to worry about a bigger machine, my loads are not very big these days

Never had a chart like that. Interesting. I just fill the tub up until it's 3/4 full and wash. I don't really know how many of anything I'm suppose to put in there.

I need something to wash my big comforters and quilts in. I won't ever go to a laundry mat. And, with all the towels we use, especially in the summer, this only makes sense with us.

times have sure changed! since there are only 2 of us I didn't see the need to get the front loader & it turned out this one is even a bigger drum than my Duet. We did not pay THAT price! LOL, with a sale & a 10% moving coupon plus buying it in a county with a cheaper sales tax (and Fl has no state tax) It was a bit cheaper that way.

and I can't wait to use it!!!! LOL!!!!

I agree, and since we neve reuse towels...they add up. I fill my washer up but loosely, clothes first then soap then water. I know it'a wrong but it works.

morning....we had the storm come through about midnight. It really bothered the kitties! Lots of thunder and lightening. Not sure how much rain we had....haven't checked the gauge.

While eating breakfast...we had 4 deer in the yard. It was pretty cool! Not sure what spooked them....they moved through our front yard...and went west.

It's afternoon already. Home from church. We had some rain come through while I was at church and now I can hear some rumbling in the distance. Not sure which way it is heading. We can use the rain though so I'm not complaining.

no rain here, Maggie....just blue sky and plenty of sunshine. I believe it's about 80* on the porch right now!

Yeah, we got quite a bit off of ours, as well. I can assure you that I didn't pay close to $1500 for either one.

I know. I just know that it's no fun to move things or get a new home if you aren't feeling well.

No rain here today, either. We're home until we ride on Tuesday. I'm working on iQuest tonight and the older kids in our cruise group have chat tonight. I moderate that chat.

I'm suppose to hear from hh gregg first thing in the morning. From that call, I should be better able to plan my day.

The weather was so bad yesterday that Lisa and many other vendors packed up and went home and did not go back today... I know with her inventory that she carries it could have been very costly to her... as well as the other vendors...

Not as much rain today but dark and dreary and windy...oh and the temps went from mid 70's down to mid 50's in the last couple of hours...

we had a good time shopping, TJ Max has MS 12 x 12 pads of Halloween paper for under 5.00 and of course I snatched that up and some cool ribbon too
Ali found shoes after several places and we lucked out on her undergarment...Penny's had one and it was perfect ... We found warm pj's for Faith...Brooked tried on a really pretty dress ~ just because ~ gramma told her she thought it would look great on her...and it did...but for the price and no real need we passed on that...but she just loves to try things on...

So I am home ready to enjoy some tea and hang out with the boys... they are here to visit ...

boy, you got that right! Right now we are both hurting pretty bad. It's hard when it is just the 2 of us working but we'll get it done. The house is 99% packed so we can rest until tomorrow when we have to move everything out of the storage room. That will be a back breaker for sure but we do have a hand truck so that helps a lot. Tuesday the movers should do most of the work but at $140 @ hour...yeah we'll help them keep moving!!!! Then we can take out time unpacking & organizing. I may not get back on here until Wednesday.

Yes she can, she always creates extras for her craft shows...but I am sure she will display and sell it at the store too... Her shows really are a big percentage of her sales ... She has a "witches night out event Oct 24 so hopefully she can sell some of the Halloween decor at that
She still has her annual open house in Nov....so that is great for Christmas and winter ideas
Being on Facebook tho she can run in store specials too... I am working on some marketing ideas for her

You are literally going to have your hands full. I'd say Wednesday at the earliest and maybe not until Thursday. There's a lot of work going to be going on there. Good luck with it all and please take it easy on the back - both of you.

Just thought I'd pop in for a minute. I need to go upload my card for {Pin}spirational Challenge and do some blog work.

I decided to make some cookies when I got home from church. I want to send some to my DD at college. I planned to do it when she first went back to school, but life here was crazy and I didn't get the chance. Now with Halloween coming up, I'm sending her cookies and some candy, so I hope she likes all that. I was a little disappointed in the way the cookies turned out. They are supposed to be Monster Cookies, but they look like pancakes. I followed the recipe but made some substitutions that I think affected the way they cooked. Actually, the dough was kind of runny and not real thick like it should be. Oh well, they still tasted good, and I tweaked the recipe as I went along, so the last ones done are a little better than the first ones, so I'm sending those to her. And I'm sending them Priority so they'll get there in 2 days.

After that I made some of my breakfast oatmeal casserole so now breakfast is all ready for the week.

Kitties outside are fed, so I guess I better get busy. I also want to make a card for TPT this week. I haven't been able to play so much the last few weeks.

Dody and Shell, I was looking at that LG washer and steam dryer - really nice. I checked online at Sears sells them for $899! A big savings from full price - not that I"m going to rush out and get either one at the present time. Mine are working just fine and will do I hope for some years to come.
