Blog has been updated. Not doing a lot of that lately ... I hope to get back into it soon. We'll see. The project I added today isn't paper, though.

Here is the site Suzy was talking about. You can also find them on FB.

Free Kindle Books | Pixel of Ink

I also searched FB for Free Kindle Books and found a site on there and they also send me an e-mail every day with a list of cheap or free Kindle books.

They both go through Amazon since they are the ones that sell the Kindle.

I believe Kindle can share... but I know that was one of Wally's fav parts with his NOOK... he went on FB and asked who had Nooks and they set up a local group so they could share
that and he loved that could get books from the library without going : ) I had 14 boxes of his books , can you imagine if he had not gotten his Nook lol

I still have not sat and read a book on the Nook, but I have a few on there...I am thinking this winter when I do not want to get out it will be great...

You're very welcome. I wish I had more time to get to blogs. I hope that I'm able to do that more after the first of the year. Things have just been so busy for us.

To my knowledge, you can't share unless you share an account.

You really should try it. I never thought I would be one to give up traditional books for ebooks, but using my Kindle is SO much easier and more convenient than regular books. I can't wait to take it .... and my entire library ..... on the cruise. I won't have all those books to carry, just my little Kindle.

I decided to stay home... most of the day at least. If I can get stuff caught up, may do the shopping this evening so I can stay home all day tomorrow. Thursday is coming fast and so much to do.

Yowzers! I think it's time to either shop for a new gas company or invest in a central heat/ air unit.

I looked that up because I thought one time that I saw something on my Kindle Fire that was about sharing, but when I researched it online it said you can only share if your accounts are connected, so that a family could share among each other, but I can't share with my friends.

I do like having the ability to take my books with me when I'm going somewhere like to the doctor's office or the car service, but I still have quite a few real books that I need to be reading also since I have them.

Suzy, I saw they are down to $149 now!!! Well worth it! I love have the choice of which way to go. I will always love real books but this is quite a wonderful way to read as well. Esp since part of my problem was I didn't want to store all of the books I've read. I have been buying cheap paperbacks for pool reading, lol, won't take the Kindle or a library book in the pool.

Yes, it is and that's not counting all the SU stamp sets that I have. I still have those 2 drawers to go through which I need to do before the 21st when I go to dd's house again. I want to take all the stamps that I want to get rid of to her.

That does makes sense. We just have to let each other know about the good FREE books so we can all get them in time.

So our nre neighborhood is having their yearly garage sale the weekend after we move. I think we'll put out a few things we can't use anymore...like my new bar stools. Next year I might go nuts with the stamp stuff; I really must purge one way or another. To think of how much we have already got rid of (3 rooms of furniture plus truck loads to GoodWill & or the dump) I can not believe we still have way too much stuff! If our house was any smaller we could have been on Hoarders.

just wax and dryer lint. I do pour wax in through one end, give it time to set up then flip it over and pour from the other end.

If I was on the go more maybe I would but I am home so much and find comfort in sitting in my chair and holding a book...weird~ old fashion ~ whatever ~ kind of like prefering my desk top to my laptop

Jaydin uses the Kindle app on her iPod and accesses my account. I get her books that she can read on there.

oh not in a house that is not mine... that is why I have not looked into getting a wood burner ... just not putting money in here... other than small things ... and as I said the trust on the farm does not have the $ that price I listed was for a wood burner unit not fuel

If Wally was here we would have changed some thing... but I am lucky to have this to live in these are the cheapest and best serviced gas company near by...

I am lucky to have this house to live in...really not sure what I would do if not it is scary on paper and in real life

I've not attempted to comment on every post. When I do post a reply, SCS tells me it was a duplicate post and I'll be redirected. Then I have to hit refresh to get the page to come up. I don't have time for games today.

Suzy, how is the knee and back? Those incidents do follow you forever, just sayin.

Soni, I'm keeping the girls in my prayers. I know this is not easy on them. And government agencies don't provide the help they should. I won't even go anywhere near the Michael comments. You've known my feelings about him for years.
