Wow! Now looking back, that time sure went by fast! Good luck on all the packing, painting, and moving!
Take care of yourself. Those summer colds really can hang on and you don't want a relapse.
Funny, I actually said the same thing today! If I only knew it would have been alright staying here...ie not showing/moving/etc I would have felt better from the start. Shows that I need to work on my trusting in God. He made this house available when we needed it. I have been checking all along & very few (if any) houses have been available that would take dogs & be large enough for us since we've been down here. It was a gift, no doubt!
I had been curling my hair, when Keith came in I "thought" I shut the curling off... but I went back to pick it up and turn it on and it was on I hang the handle on a towel rack so the barrel is up
yep I grabbed the barrel...
after a few hours when burn cream coating it the index finger is the worst, it has 2 areas with a blister and a small one on my thumb... If I can get is bandaged I will be ok
I was hoping Krista could come over and put more medicine on it and wrap it in gauze and tape but she is in bed... I need to check with Tam to see if she was able to get some one for tonight or if this will be her fourth night in a row
thanks for asking Dody... just shaking my head at my self
Keith had to finish up the laundry, poor guy

I doubt it will take more than 2 days & I don't want to have to look in boxes if I need something. I know we have a ton of work ahead but it will be nice to work toward OUR house not someone else's for a change. I am still coughing a lot and get tired easliy but that too is working it's way out.
sorry you are still coughing, please do not over do... yes it will be great to be in your house and feel ay home
I hope the unpacking goes well, but please do not push...

that is how Krista was growing up~ some times no coughing at all ~ but had pneumonia... weather changes still are hard on her...that is why she is sick right now

Ali is here and Faith is loving it...they are all snuggle in gramma's chair ...I think it will be an early night for her... so that is good, I am tired too, that fresh and really cool air and walking got me today I think I could enjoy an early night myself
It was good to see Lisa, but I really did not find much that I thought I had to have
I did find a purple Halloween sweatshirt that was 50 % off so I love that...
Faith is playing in my stamp cabinet ~ uh she is getting a lot more out than usual...

Ali and Krista and I all enjoyed Faith, she was so tired but still so much fun...and she was loving Ali, she would not even go to Krista from her ~
so now quiet time here I think I will check out the gallery,
I did not get any cards made for Nat'l card making day
I hope my finger is to the point I can play by Monday...
I wonder what stamps Faith pulled out, maybe I should use those for my next batch of Christmas cards...lol that is the only shelf she bothers
We had a full day. We dashed to a birthday party....just made an appearance for a little boy. He is such a sweetie! Then to our rocket meeting. Then we went to eat with our usual bunch. Good times!
But, on another note.....I had a little accident this morning. I was getting paperwork ready to take to the meeting. Pie was all stirred up...with the cool weather. Just ripping and roaring through the house. Well, he went scooting through my legs just as I was stepping. I tried to catch myself from falling...nope! I twisted my knee big time...and landed "plop" on my fanny!!! Oh, that knee was so sore on the side. I got ice on it after my shower. I've had a brace on it all day. It's one that Jack uses when he bowls. I haven't checked to see what it looks like since we've been home. I was careful on it while we were out. I didn't take the stairs....I took the elevator. Was very careful when I got up and moved. I might not be bowling on Monday...depends on how it is doing. Jack said that it will be sore for 3 days or so. Oh great!

Suzy *yes that was my thought about Christmas cards... lol
Sorry to hear you had a fall, some days I still trip over Daisy she sneaks up and gets under my feet...
I hope your knee is not seriously damaged... and that it heals properly without much pain...
after watching Krista do therapy for hers, I do know how painful it can be

Good Morning ladies, So what do you have planned for today ?
Faith woke up at midnight, we changed her diaper and had some milk, but then she needed to sit and rock and cuddle... bummer
She was awake again early,so we did more snuggle time , This is rare that she does this here... I imagine she will be up and ready for breakfast real soon, so I am just stopping in while I can

Oh Yikes! Suzy, so sorry to hear about your tumble. I sure hope it's just a little brusing and not a big twist and is better in 3 days. That doesn't sound like a lot of time to let it recover before putting a lot of weight on it with bowling.
Good morning Quackers. Had another great night sleeping. Woke up at 7:45 and got up at 8. I could get really spoiled doing this.
I did work on some cards last night. The one for {Pin}spirational Challenge and started on my first card for PSC. For you that want to get some birthday and Christmas cards done, next week would be perfect. We have 4 days of challenges and it would be a great time to get some cards done and maybe win a prize.

Happy to hear that Faith is a happy girl. Enjoy your time with her.
I've got breakfast in the oven. Making my baked oatmeal casserole. It will last me the whole week.
It's a tad chilly this morning and the wind is gusting, so all the kitties are finding warm spots to sleep in. Everyone is home and doing well. Not sure where Snowflake went off to the other day, but she turned back up again. That was just not like her.
I"m working on cards today while watching General Conference. So glad I have that TV in my stamp room.

oh man, that sounds so painful! How is it today? Sometimes the next day is even worse. Keep ice on it & take motrin if you can. Poor Suzy!!!
It's going to be a quiet day here. Justin called & they want to bring dinner over so that's cool. I have packed a box or two more. Bud is getting the pressure washer out of the storage room so he can wash the pool deck before we leave. Why he didn't do that months ago so we could enjoy the clean deck.....it's just how he rolls sometimes. Why fight it?

but after doing dishes, that is off too...It is looking so much better, and feeling better too, not near as tingly
thanks for asking ladies,
The boys are here , Ali has a game and it is only 41 degrees so they are gonna just stay inside with us So I am off
ok Krista just checked my finger and was shocked to see the difference already If I need to out another bandaid or two I will then later we will medicate it and cover it again

That would have been nice to enjoy, but oh well. At least you can say you're leaving it cleaner than how you found it.

Glad to hear that your hand is doing so much better.
It's officially 52 here. Gray and overcast, but I don't think we got any rain with this front.

It is still sore....but, at least he was able to rub it last night with some icy hot. That seemed to help some. I was able to sleep last night. I was sore this morning. Not doing much today...for sure. We do need to go to the other house....but, I won't be working over there. If I do....I'll just sit and go through papers.
I'm thinking that I might not be bowling tomorrow. It is still rather tended on the side where I really pulled it. Hey...would rather not over extend it at this point.

You are right...my back didn't hurt at all yesterday. I was shocked about that! But, I'm feeling it today...yep, the back is sort of sore. At least nothing is throbbing!! I did put heat on it earlier. So, will ice it here in a few minutes.

it's my Sunday to work and I'm really wishing I was at home. I have had some ideas lately about how to organize and now I'm in the mood to do them. By next weekend I may have changed my mind about doing anything. Been having alot of ups and downs lately - some pretty deep downs too.
I've got to get the rest of the boxes out of my garage - those are the last of the craft room boxes that Larry delivered. I'm not sure what's in those boxes, so there may be ink or stickles and I sure don't want them to freeze.
Just noticed today that I have an infection started in my right hand. The colder weather has caused some cracks in the skin over my knuckles and lotions/vaseline/etc is not helping and so now the infection has started. Hand is hot to the touch, bright red and starting to swell - good thing I have an MD appointment on Tuesday. Hoping I get antibiotics in me quick enough to avoid having a pic-line for the next 10-14 days. That might interfer with some plans I have for the end of the month.

this has to be difficult for him knowing he is the caregiver for some one...
