Some times using pre stamped images and scraps just make it all easy...I keep all of my left overs, together...
if I do not use them in a period of time I donate those to a cause, large or small...some one might as well get use out of them...
I do the same with any images after I have had them for a year or so...

oh it is dark and heavy rains...and rumbling in the sky I hope to be back later...

I am not ready for SNOW yet... I want to enjoy this colorful season first...

I saw where there was snow predicted for the Dakotas this week. Can't believe it's that time of the year again already.

I've had a feeling we should be planning for either an early winter, a hard winter or both. Thus the stocking up project I have going. I don't drive in ice.

Her very first show is on October 27th. She has 3 more lessons (unless it rains...) to prepare.

Maggie, when I saw this I thought of our conversation on here about the vanilla paper... this says ivory but to me they are one in the same

I thought if you saw the elegance here maybe you would re think your idea of not using it

Hoping I can get the last of the fire starters set enough to move into the garden shed before it gets dark. It's cool enough to work outside now though. hehe

That is just crazy! It will be interesting to see how chilly it gets down here. Doubtful that I'll see any of that snow tho.

I have one more pan of wax to finish melting and pouring then I'll be done. Unfortunately I'll either be pouring them by the back porch light or the flashlight. If I use the back porch light, bugs will follow me in the house.

As soon as they're poured I'm coming in to mix up burritos. They won't take long. Chop the meat, heat up the refried beans, stir in chopped green chilies and I'm good to go. One of those should make a nice supper and I'll freeze the rest. Bob hasn't called yet... probably while I"m wrapping burritos hehe

I fav'd both of those cards, Soni.

Okay. last of the wax is poured. Butterkitty was kind enough to go roll in something and share, now my hands no longer smell like scented wax. Time give them a scrub and make burritos, I'm hungry.

Okay, dinner out of the way. I had exactly enough tortilla shells to match the burrito filling. That hardly ever happens LOL. Now I need to wrap and get them in the freezer.

Just catching the finals of The Next. Haven't watched the rest of the season. Man have I missed out!

Jaydin and I may have to try to make some peach turn-overs tomorrow. That sounds yummy ... OR we may wait until it's a little cooler on Monday to try them ... hmmmm ... decisions, decisions.

We just got in about 30 min ago....had family in town. So, we met for an early dinner...and then walked around the mall. Jack figured that we would get caught in rush hour traffic...so, need to kill about 30 more minutes. Went over to the "new" apartment for cousin's son. Got some visiting in....which was great!

Good evening Quackers. Just finished putting the envelopes together for the Monthly Challenge swap and they will be going postal tomorrow so start looking out for your envie next week. Hope you like everything. Sorry, but I did not make up any kind of list of stuff. The DP is from Bo Bunny. I used Memento Black ink. I'll tell you anything else after you start receiving the kit if there are any questions.

I'm off to bed. Gotta make up for the lack of sleep last night.

I could have shared lots of dryer lint with you if I knew. This dryer makes lots & lots of lint. I had just read about using lint to start a fire instead of newspaper. Sounds like a great idea, of course I don't have a fireplace anymore we may get a fire pit for the back yard tho.

Our DVR messed up Surivivor and when I went to watch it all I saw was fuzz & then who snuffed out the torch. GRRRRRR!!!!! Talk about spoiling the whole show. It looks like a good season too. I was VERY happy with who went home last week (show 2) that person got on my last nerve already.

The only thing with using dryer "lint" in fire starters is that you really need to make sure it is not synthetic. So many of our garments and things we wash are not cotton. It's the cotton lint that you need to use in the fire starters otherwise they are very combustible.

A fire pit would be great for the patio. Could sit out there and enjoy that and roast 'smores.

We're home all day today. I'm going to head to the Haven as soon as we have lunch. Jaydin woke up with a sore throat. I'm hoping that's just a little drainage going on. We'll see, I guess.

NO we have had several mornings like this, the difference is the high today is 50... Brrr

but I believe we have more good days...I truly hope so
as I do not want to use my furnace...
the fuel is ridiculous... So I snuggle with a blanket a lot

OK Ali is delivered home...my tea is gone
I think I will go take the sheets off of my bed and put some flannel ones on, and my comforter... I might as well put my elec mattress cover on, tho I do not plan to use it yet lol but I will be all set ... I wanted a new comforter this year , I did find one I liked at Target, now to hope it is still there this week...

I plan on being home all day ...

So I may not hurry into any thing...lol
