Yes, I've looked at Curt's blog off and on. He uses some of the stamps I like....these are the Deadbeat Designs. I know that Curt has been busy with getting a house ready to sell, then finding a new house...and now the move. Plus, getting the new one all painted and fixed up on the inside. The backyard looks lovely...I'm sure the pups are enjoying the pool!

So many people are getting taken since the breakdown in economy by people who aren't what they claim.

Also, unless you see they are insured, if they should fall it's against YOUR homeowners.

Good morning Quackers! How is everyone.

Women's Conference went so well yesterday. I had tons of help and we were able to crank out those cards just in time to have dinner before the broadcast. It was all good except for the drive home. The rain had been good to us up until then. Poured on my way home and the streets had a lot of construction on them. Was a slow drive but I made it!

Glad it went well. I don't remember, how many cards were you having them put together?

Sorry for the icky drive home but you're safe.

I must have gotten caught up on my sleep last night. I feel like I can conquer the world today. I already have the house opened up and the load of sheets almost ready for the line.

Before I went to bed last night I cut a large chuck roast in half. Part went got cut up into cubes and put in the small crockpot with a 1/2 envelope of beef gravy mix and some water. That will make the perfect portion of beef and noodles for Bob and I. The other half - the larger end - I seasoned heavily with taco seasoning and put it in the big crockpot on low over night. Today I can shred it, mix with green chilies, fresh chopped tomatoes and refried beans for beef burritos. I love having them in the freezer for a quick lunch.

I pulled a jar of what I 'think' is spagetti sauce out of the freezer. If it's still good, I'll thaw out a pound of hamburger and make spaghetti. I have a taste for pasta.

I picked up a couple of rag throw rugs in autumn colors at $ General yesterday. Only 2 they had that matched and were the colors I wanted. Also some orange and brown dish clothes. I'd like to have had a rust/red but all they had was a Christmas red. On the look out for caramel colored ones for Christmas. I think those will fit nicely with my Gingerbread theme.
So today is laundry, clean the kitchen, clear off the couch, clean the kennel (when it dries up a bit - heavy fog last night) then craft the rest of the day!

I've buzzed a couple of threads. Sheets are ready for the line.
What's everyone else doing today? Soni, you have Faith today, right? Maggie - you going to the kids' after church?
Sue, is this your weekend to work?
Dody, how are you and Bud feeling? Not expecting you to pop in with the little ones there. I know you don't want to waste any precious time with them. how did Steph endure the drive?

I had a bit of a rough time falling asleep, Randy came up, and the news was not good, tho there was some good in it .. But I finally fell asleep, but I have a head ache this morning : (

I am off to get some tea and I may take some thing for it...

We did find a dress, but her size was in Bloomington...Randy stopped and picked it up and brought it out... It was nothing like she was looking for, but it is pretty...She really liked it too We are hoping MaMa Sue can take a couple of tucks tho to be sure it stays put while dancing

They said sunshine today. I'm still wondering where it's at. I wound up just doing loads I could put in the dryer. I've totally emptied the kitchen/ laundry room of everything except appliances and cabinets. Played a Soni and scrubbed the floor with a hand brush. Now making passes with my steamer to get the crud up.

Said goodbye to my boy after lunch today. I already miss him horribly. Jaydin's big, silent tears don't help.

A quieter week this week, I think. A lot to get done, though.

I sure hope things went well on the way home...have not heard from them yet but they should be close to home. They got in about 9 friday night & left about 9 this morning. No, we didn't go to the house yesterday~ it's an hour from here & they have 2 eight car rides inbetween. But we did (Bud & I) go this morning. Mirrors are in the bathrooms, we have a mailbox, closet maid shelves in ...it's getting close!

Hey Kelly, we are doing better but sooo tired!!! I envied you that good nights sleep. Stef did okay with the drive but she thinks she has an UTI; poor kid just can't catch a break. The kids spent most of the day in the pool, it was a bit chilly (water was only 82*) but they had so much fun & it just wore them OUT!

You did a great job explaining/reminding Sue about only getting bonded workers. Way too many scams out there now!

I hate goodbyes but we can't have hellos without them. Will he be allowed to come home for Christmas?

Sorry for the icky drive home but you're safe.
4 packages of 30 each, so 120 all together. I really need to find some invoice that shows what the stamp set is called, because my GF wants it, but it's not marked anywhere, and I have no idea where I got it.

Sue, is this your weekend to work?
Dody, how are you and Bud feeling? Not expecting you to pop in with the little ones there. I know you don't want to waste any precious time with them. how did Steph endure the drive?
No kids this weekend. I had a presidency meeting from 2-4. Have been home for about an hour and really need to accomplish something. I have 2 cards that I need to work on and I"m not enthused by either of them. Guess I better go work on one of them anyway.

Just put food out for the kitties and the little Wanda turned her nose up at it and walked off. Of well, I guess she's not eating tonight. This is the same food I've been feeding them all for the last 6 years.

The sun came out a little while ago for just a short time. We have a lot of wind and cloudy skies, but no rain, just a little misting this morning.

I have laundry that I haven't gotten to yet this weekend either.

nope, this was my 2 day weekend. Yesterday I got my laundry done, hung it out and it was dry and back in house in 2hrs. got my dishes caught up, wiped down the counters and stove. Jason cooks for himself, but isn't the best at cleaning up, made deviled eggs for the church dinner. Addison kept popping in and out all day from about 9:30am and she finally left about 3:30 when her Daddy came home.

Today I went with Davina, Chad and Addison to an apple festival. We left about 9:00am and got home about 5:00. Ashley marched with the band in the parade. We went early so Davina could get some Fall color pictures and to go to the flea market there. I didn't see anything I "had" to have though - in fact they were selling the kind of stuff I want to get rid of. I did buy Addison a pair of fake Crocs for $6 - they work so nice for her to slip on in a hurry to run over to Grandma's house. The parade was terrific, but sitting in the sun I got a little "color" myself. Then stopped at an apple orchard on the way home to buy apples, apple cider, caramel apples and apple cider doughnuts. We had to wait for the doughnuts because there was such a crowd of people there. Waited about 30minutes, but they were warm and fresh and sooooo good. Only had a half though, shared with Addison. Good day, but I'm tired and will be in bed a little early tonight so I'm rested tomorrow. Lots of walking and fresh air today.

maybe it just didn't smell right to her tonight, a little tummy issue perhaps.

off to work on my family tree - trying to enter info that Mom had done. Also found a couple of recipes that my cousin had "pinned" - want to print them off for future.

Neighbor gave me some tomatoes and a cucumber. For supper I had a cucumber sandwich, haven't had one in years, tasted wonderful but the cucumber could have been fresher, wasn't as crisp as I like them. But I'm not complaining, it was perfect for a quick supper. Then I ate the caramel apple I bought. That was yummy too. I can hear my pillow and bed calling me, but I know if I go to bed at 7:00pm, I'll be awake by 3:00am and it will be a horrible day tomorrow. Gotta stay awake until at least 9:30 for sure.

Again another weekend with no sorting getting done. Oh well, I'm the only one who's stressing I guess. Though Davina just shakes her head when she walks into the dining room. But, then she gets "rain days" off from work and I don't.

Not much different from the origonal plan, exccept ongoing Chemo without a change for now as he did not want the higher risk factors that came with the added chemo
and pet scans at a closer intervals

he now has a time element to live his life by...
